Lol, it's cool. I've got him on FB. I'd totally get 'em if I could afford them. They'd look great on my car. Any word on when the next Macon Madness will be?

Alright guys, I made some real progress this weekend. I'm finally low. Here's a few pictures of the install, but I didn't get to take too many pictures.
And here is how it sat... this was all the way down with no helper spring.
Backs are dropped all the way.
It was a little too low for my fenders. So I raised it 1 3/4" and took the spacers off the front.
Sorry for all the iPhone pictures I only took a few with my camera, but I'll upload some later I really like the JOM coilovers, They were cheap but they ride very nicely and get low. Also, I know I said I was doing the wheels gold, and rattle canning, but I just decided to powder coat. Wheels should be done in the next few days. the color is a surprise
Oh snap, was about time haha, excited for the wheels, good progres tho
Well this update will not disappoint then! I actually changed the wheel color and had them powder coated. I got this while I was on my way home one afternoon, and I could not wait to go pick them up!
So Thursday afternoon, I went and picked up my finished wheels. Well to say the least, I loved the color and they came out great! The color was candy maroon. Well about 10 minutes after picking up the wheels, I went to get tires, and I know I'm gonna get shit for not stretching but I went with a 225/45/17 on a 17x8.5.
Of course after getting tires I was ecstatic about getting them on the car, but due to my lack of time to adjust coils and roll fenders, the wheels did not go on Thursday. But I did put one rear on just to tease myself
Instead I got up early Saturday morning and rolled my fenders a little, and spent the day adjusting the coils and stuff. and here's what I ended up with...
My buddy with his slammed S4 on Rotiforms helped me get all of it adjusted and sitting proper.
Aaaaaannnnnnddddddd heres how she is sitting at the moment! That Instagram picture doe. I havent had time to take any decent pictures of the car. And I tinted the tails all red.
Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to take some good pictures this weekend, but I'm sure something will come up preventing it lol. But that's really it for now, I did install an Aux port, but I don't have a picture. Hope this update makes you believe I actually was putting the wheels on
tires are a little big for my taste but a lot better than those plastidip stocks
so far so good, don't mess it up now lol
lol I don't plan to! And yeah it is a lot of tire, but I was going for "function" so I didn't want to have too much stretch, and I knew nothing about stretching, so I went with the 225/45. Once I roll my fenders more, I can go a little lower without any issues.
