my friend bought a v70 off my cousin



after putting new freeze plugs in the turbo (since he put straight water in the coolant because of a leak) it also blew up the radiator, then heater core..then head gasket.. he bought this autumn gold 855, off my friend (who I got the s60r from, who bought my 242) rare color as well

started as this



It needed a clutch and new trans which we put in.
motor was rebuilt by volvo has 24k miles on it. volvo 18t turbo, angle exhaust housing, R exhaust manifold, angle downpipe obx turbo back exhaust, est rip kit, ipds intake, ac delete. ard black tune and waiting for green injectors.

then I gave him the pegs for car parts

thennnn he finds out the car was totaled in NH and would have to pay $700 to try and get a R-title for pa..so he parted it out

pulling motors and swapping



swapped the whole interior into the white v70 from the gold along with motor. not trans,(my friend bought it off him for his 850) the v70 is an auto. he also has ipd lowering springs on it, current pictures are just fronts he is putting the rears in tomorrow along with scrapping the gold.

finally installed the 19t




I will be posting new photos of it installed. I did not take any while putting it in :/ and I just got a new phone today so I will be able to post better pictures., next is front mount install which I will make sure I take pictures

So update, I went to carlisle. The week before I put the 19t on drove about 700 miles to break it in..and then this happens when I decide to boost it



so back to the shot 15g that didnt smoke :/

oh yeah I put this on 2 weeks ago. $19 golf cart mirror off amazon. I love it.






I also rolled my fenders a lot more so no more rubbing but now it looks terrible and I need to space it out more, along with camber. once I get the turbo/smoke situated

Hahah Thank you! I know once you drive one/own one you get a addicted. I have owned 4 so far and about to get another one. I first owned a mk3 jetta and when we where going to pick it up my brother let me drive his 850 and I loved it, then he was like o yeah now enjoy your jetta...2.0 non turbo so slow haha.

also after swapping turbos I found out my rings are shot and valve steam seals, it eats a quart of oil in like five minutes. so my friend Eric (the black 850) is selling me an 850 so that will be my daily until I find a new motor...I am sure I wont be able to keep it stock but I am going to try...even though I have spare tunes, turbo, intakes, intercoolers, injectors and exhaust.. yeah probably last., I can never keep something stock

what adapters are you running to fit that well? I just ordered some 23mm adapters from adaptec this morning. should be here this weekend. such a sick c70 for sure! jealous of that front mount. haha

I apologize in advance for some rough photos.

So it's been a while since I have posted anything. The c70 motor pooped the bed, I fried the rings running it lean with the big turbo..so I sold the S60R and bought this 850 off my friend for $550.

I got it like this


couldn't keep it stock so I put a spare ipd stage 1 tune in with white injectors, custom intake and cranked the boost to 18 so it has a little get up, nothing crazy.

The hood was white, drivers side doors where all dented from being backed into..so, it was in need of a paint job. and of course had to be lowered so I took the coils off the c70 and threw them on the 850

this is how it turned out.








I was going for the F-bomb camaro from roadkill then stopped. I was tempted to paint teeth down the side or a bomb but I dont know if it would look good on it. (thats why the hood half black)

so I ditched the wheels to go back to the vettes again :/

I also deleted the amber in the turn signals. Some pictures are older so they will have the amber in it still. sorry about that.


I then took all the door moldings off because the drivers side kept falling off.








then I made a ghetto wing that I ended up taking off because it looked terrible from the back
