Thanks for the kind words everyone. It really is a rad car and its pretty unique looking. I wish I could keep it and finish it. But unfortunately life happens and won't allow me to do so.

Here's a link to my FS thread.

I must admit, an engine swap is very very difficult for Mercedes cars from this era. The engine loom is not a separate loom like bmw uses. So you have to dig through the whole loom and splice it into the v8 loom...

The 2.3 16v beside me is on cut springs like mine, but I think his are stiffer aftermarket ones, mine are just the sportline springs. I'm not entirely sure how much I cut off the springs; just until it looked good..... It was quite a bit though. It would ride perfect with some new struts though.

5x114-5x112 is achieved via wobble bolts. Some people ****'m.... working great for me....

    P.S. fixed the wheel!.

Someone grabbed a snap of me rolling into a CSCS event with my lady on the weekend. Props to whom ever that was.

    nice car ...question on wheels???

I notice it is a 5x114 bolt pattern but the 190e is 5x112 ...how did you accomplish this to get the fitment ...and what kind of springs were on the car and how much did you cut in the front and back ...did you also include any shock absorbers?

    thanks
    Gary

Loving your car and build. But I have a 2.3-16 and I saw you parked beside one. WHat suspension is it on, do you know?
