    Greetings from Finland!

    Lets start from the beginning...

The thing which started all. My good old passat, it had everything that the factory offered! Electric seats, climatronic, solar sunroof, navigation, fullsize FIS, 4Motion, Tiptronic, etc..
But reason, why i sold it was the mileage, it had "only" 350k km`s on it. So it was time to change...

When i sold my old passat, i started to look for a new whip. Offcourse it had to be a
Volkswagen, 4Motion and some "not so usual" engine.
I bought this V5 4Motion Bora, or as u yanks know it: Jetta Wagon.
This thing had a little accident, did some snow drifting, and you guess the rest...

So after the insurance company didn`t want to repair it, because the body bent from A pillar so badly, it was time to find a new car.
I liked the Bora very much, but gas mileage was total crap, and when the gas prices in Finland are so damn high, it was back to diesel...

Then i found this "beauty" 2001 Passat 3BG, or B5.5 in U.S. Under the bonnet is 2.5l V6 Turbo diesel, it is programmed from factory by ABT. It gives 186bhp and 390nm torq, behind it is 5spd TipTronic and the best of all, 4Motion.

It has pretty good accessories, like leather seats, sunroof, oem Bi-xenons, navigation, climatronic and so on.

Nothing big happened during winter, which by the way sucks! **** it...
Just usual service, like motor oils and tranny oils

I started looking some wheels for the summer, and i found these Touareg`s OEM atheos rims for a very low price, they were in good condition so i bought them right away!

This meant that i needed to byu PCD adapters, because atheosses pcd is 5x130.
Got set of them very for very cheap price, from Germany. Still waiting the spring, so i tinted front windows with 50% 3M foil. This is illegal in Finland btw
Installed Newsouthperformance gauge and gaugepod to steering column.
Also got tyres to the wheels, 225/35-19.

    Some test fitting pic

And finally the coilover`s arrived from Germany, brand is Vogtland and i had the same set on my previous passat, it`s very comfy yet still stiff.

And when the front end was torn a part, i replaced all the control arms.

Then some dumbasses showd up to play around...

Wheels and the suspension under the car, needs some adjustment...

There is more to come, after the spring turns to summer and the shit stops flying on the roads...

Thanks for reading allway to the bottom, hope you liked it!
Feedback is welcomed from the car!

For the last, i apologize my very bad english, hope you understand even the half of it

Today gived the car a proper bath, still need`s some serious polishing!

So many scratches and stone chips. Front end would use a repaint, maybe put new fenders and side mirrors with blinkers.

Took a couple shots aftef bath time. Still needs to be lower imo, it`s pretty nice to drive like this, no rubbing at all! Well, when there is 4 person on board, then it`s a different story...

Tomorrow i do some engine bay cleaning and wash up, maybe some photos of that will be uploaded

          Something again...

Buffed and waxed this thing couple weekends ago.
          In order:
          -Pre wash with a solvent
          -De-iron
          -De-tar
          -Claybar
          -Meguiars #M101 + Hex-Tech Orange pad
          -Meguiars #82 + Hex-Tech Blue pad
          -Wash with a solvent
          -Collinite 476s

          Some pics:

Got the W8 rear valance, need to weld some exhaust tips during the weekend probably.
Also need to find some cheap park sensors to cover the holes.

And then the 5-0 said, that "boy you have too big wheels, you need to take it to mot test, and they check that the wheels can turn and etc." So i can`t do it, because in Finland, the damn PCD adapters are illegal to use... Glad they didn`t give me a ticket
Now running stupid RS4 reps a while, or least the time i figure out what to do... Maybe change back to 18"... I have a set of RH`s AH porcshe style wheels in my sight, nothing fancy

            Hello again.

Got new rims, RH AH`s in size 18x8.5" allround.
They need new paint, and smaller tyres. I was thinking 215/40-18", now they have 225/40 with no stretch, and they are pretty high profile..

And this is how it looks, with them on!

Still needs more poke, but the RH`s own adapters are just 20mm. Probably order more of these FK`s 35mm adapters. These will be sold with the Touareg OEM wheels, so it`s
            eBay time...

Also did some undercarriage cleaning, when changed the wheels.

Got some goods from Germany, US type rub strips with sidemarkers, very rare in Finland or Europe.
