Why dont you try to find M5 flares? They're really cheap, at least in europe.

decided to tackle the valve adjustment. I had never done one before. i think i ended up doing pretty well.


i was in for a surprise when i took off my valve cover and found these:



seriously? these were under one of the rocker arms.

so i painted the valve cover while i was at it.


but i got it running smooth and im stoked.




just bought some fender flares. and some hoses to repair the power steering.
more pictures once i have it put back together.

Not necessarily "subtle" but I did it on my old e28.

Thanks man! yeah I definitely cut the old ones out. I cut pretty high to get no rub and didnt care to weld the gap or anything which I would have done now because it was a little sketchy but worked lol. Yeah I tried really hard to make it the same on both sides too.

hm. i may look into that. i just got a set of oem flares for the e28. i test fit them to see if they will blend well with the e34 bumpers. it looks like the front will, but the rear i may have to do a little work with. but i like your idea. i may do that if i can't get these to work the way i want them to.

BMW love here man, got a e30 of my own, got two sets of rims and I still don't know where I want to head with it, either way this thing is sick, I love it

Dude, it's so crazy how how that e34 bumper fit so perfectly with your e28. Definitely a great alternative, compared to the hard to get alternative overseas. If I ever decide on getting an e28, this would be on my mod list.
