Being 40 years old, this was the car we learned to drive in in New Zealand, modify, and subsequently thrash the hell out of and wreck. Mk1-2 Escorts and Mk1-2 Cortina's. It's criminal how many of these my mates and I went through. The price is getting up there for a clean one here too now.

Todays job was to fit the N/S sill

I don't know what non factory part quality is like in the US but over here they are shite!

This gap between the sill and A post was how the panels turned up

And the N/S strut top strengthening plate called a "group 4 strut top"

Wing rail and bulkhead top corner finished on this side today along with a small amount of bare metalling

Got the first of the larger motorsport inner wheel arches fitted today

And swapped the boot floor

And the fuel tank and dry sump tank platforms in

And three piece bulkhead fitted
