Aww man not enough of it done! The whole way through this thread, I kept looking through the dates just thinking to mysel... oh god... it's getting closer to today! Noooo! I can't run out of thread now! And, here I am... Out of thread Awesome work man! I cannot wait to see the end result of this! I wish I could fab this well!

.Well this week its 12 months since i bought the shell.
So a couple of progress shots seems fitting

Got a couple of hours in the garage today, so got on with lining up the wing


And then cutting it for the arch

Made a start repairing the N/S door today.
Fitted a new bottom edge repair panel and plated both lower corners



And a coat or POR15 for good measure

So whilst the door i fitted the skin to yesterday fitted fine. The new wing on the other hand is pants!!


No matter what i do i can't get a decent bloody door gap! (Even for a rally car)

No updates recently due to lots of issues around the garage area and lack of interest in the car just now 😞

Dragged myself back to the garage today, so made a start at sorting the door gaps on the N/S


And cutting the wing for the arch

Had another half day in the unit, and got the from half of the quarter filled and etched today

Finally got some motivation to get back at it


So got the rest of the O/S repaired and in primer

Repairing and priming the rear panel today was a bit of a pain with a knackered compressor, but managed to make it look ok
