    I got my front brackets from BCfab already I kind of liked the way the OCD was mounted upside down like that though. It allows for a shorter upper cup which means more lows That was my one issues with how i had the brackets fabricated for my W202 they were to tall in the rear becuase i needed clearance for the fittingon top of the bag. The guy i sold that car to had a bagged W203 merc wagon with the upside down mounted style brackets that bolt to the LCA the same way that OCD makes their kit and it was perfect!

        After swapping my OE axles for new ones as preventative maintenance, I have since snapped 3 sets of these axles, one having less than 500 miles, the second with less than 25 miles, and the third with less than 5 miles. Needless to say, 0/10 would not recommend FEQ. I have a set of GKNs on now and I am praying these will fare better than the FEQs.

        Another thing to note is that FEQ axles are thicker at the shaft. This created a < 0.5cm clearance between the axle and SS-5 airbag. The Air House 2 is out of the question at this point.



        I finally got my new OCD rear brackets mounted. I did not have any rivnuts so I had to do some drilling so mount the rear plates onto the LCA. Holes were drilled into the side of the LCA to provide a method of bolting the rear plate on. With that, though, is an assumption that the LCA's strength is reduced quite a bit. They will need to be reinforced somehow.

        A total of 5 holes were drilled per LCA where 4 is for mounting and 1 is for the air line.







        On the other hand, my air management system prototype is advancing. The boards came back from fab recently and measures about 4x5. This is not terribly big, but it is not small either. The boards will go out for assembly soon.

          Had toe issues, corrected toe issues.

          Made adjustable rear tie rods to fix the toe caused by the additional camber via camber arms.

              I've literally spent the entire day doing research on toe adjustment and it looks like you have my answer.

              Did you just piece together your own kit the same way the camber arms were done (I have the same ones by the way.) If so, are they the same pieces as the camber arms or will I need different components to build myself some toe arms?

              The Hedgehog and MB Arts arms are stupid expensive for such a simple item. I didn't want to have to waste time tearing my suspension apart to get measurements for what I'd need to build my own though.

                Speedway Motors cart:

                LH heim joint: 1750806

                RH shank: 91008001-STR

                Heim rod reducer: 91004111

                Tie rod sleeve: 91034158-6

                Jam nuts: 1750246 & 1750446 (2

                Buy two of each of the listed above

                In order for the hub side of things to line up, purchase some nylon sleeves/spacers from your local hardware store:

                2 Nylon sleeve/spacer: 5/8 OD, 1/2 ID, 1/2" length

                4 Nylon sleeve/spacer: 1/2 OD, 3/8 ID, 1" length

                Bolt & Nut: 3/8 fine threaded bolt, 3" length w/ matching nut

                Washers: 2 per side for the heim joint ends, 8 total. Seriously, buy 8, double up, and tighten the piss outta the heim joint ends.

                Larger washers: 2 per side to space out the shank side similar to how the DIY camber arms had them, 4 total

                Now the question is, should you do it? Maybe, maybe not.

                              After some intense buffet eating montages, I was able to get my fronts lower plus cambered out a bit as well. Definitely a smorgasbord of parts in the front end now.
