When laying subframe doesn't cut it.

Frame rails on the ground! Euro lip on the ground! Still have around an eighth of an inch between the subframe and ground. Slightly less than an eighth of an inch maybe. I'm pretty surprised that I didn't have to modify the performance series struts to get me there. Then again I have 195/40's up front.

Now that I see some interest in my original design, I will be redesigning and 3D printing some new control arm mounts. This time, I'd like to utilize poly bushings instead of spherical bearings to eliminate control arm machining.

Has anyone ever heard of people pouring their own bushings? Or perhaps know of a company that will mold the bushing's to spec?

Yeah, I saw a guy pouring his own bushes on here the other day. Cant remember who it was but the general jist of it was cover one side with aluminium tape really good, leaving a slight lip over the edge, pour the molten poly in the cup, let it set, drill the middle out to the right diameter. BOOM! done
