My parents do approve of a race car but since I could only afford a shell, they wanted something that was reliable and actually had a motor
Found the Dash Swap I'm looking to do, since interior is up first but that wiring looks like a bitch to be honest

Well, first of all: Congratulations!
My brother is 14 as well and i don't see him going anywhere regarding cars in the future.
Sure, here we can't drive at 16 and most certainly we don't get those massive trucks for no way near that price range, too.
Being 14 and owning a huge truck like that makes someone feel special, I guess.
Personally, i'm not the biggest fan of lifted trucks (they're not really that useful 99% of the time you're driving them) and surely not that economical either.
But, you worked hard for it, you own it now and it's yours to do whatever you want to do with it!
I'd consider a not so "over the top" approach regarding the looks of it (those 22inch wheels are as massive and shiny as they get), i'd probably go a little low profile with that truck, enjoy it when i got my license, drive it and go to places with my friends in it, camp everywhere i could and do silly things with it.
Then i'd get a nice project car and use it as a trailer car. It'd be a killer one for that matter.
And you could still slap some ladies behinds driving a bit lower to the ground, because regardless of what people might say, that's why we drive lowered cars.
Body looks fine, interior looks decent ... i'm just here waiting for more updates, whenever they come!
Good luck, kid

Thanks for the love. The floors are clean original and this truck is rust free that's something I had on my checklist when looking for this. The owner was asking $2k but I lowered him down to 1k because of the " body work " I'd spend all my time on that and his wife wouldn't live another day with it. The truck isn't too bad on gas. As far as my plans are just a tall wide stance with some polished suspension components. The 22x14's I want will not look donk on this thing since it'll be on 38's. That's all I can say now since I'm on my iphone at school browsing tumblr and what not haha

hey im a lurker with an account lol ive had an 86 ranger and bronco 2 and that front set up looks hella messed up to me. that axle on the rangers and broncos is known as a ttb set up. beams extend to where you have leafsprings and then on top of the axle is a coil spring. idk if ive just never really paid attention to fullsize broncos or if someone royally F'ed yours up

Yeah most bronco's do have coil springs instead of leaf springs, I do know that. I've searched and sadly there are no coil springs larger than eight inches so the past owner decided to do leaf springs.
Here is the wheel/tire setup's I've been looking at.
