Decided to start documenting my E30's progress over here. I figured this forum is more inline with the direction I am taking the car so here we are.

When I first got it in May of 2011

Bought a roof rack. You know, the typical scene stuff.

Broke some shit and fixed some shit.

    Added some shit.

    Next to my friend's '88ix

Bought a dual purpose shift knob.

My clutch started slipping so I had to take care of that...

E30's with LSD's are beautiful in the snow.

Added a euro rear plate filler

Broke the water pump and had to do a water pump and timing belt job at my friend's parent's house haha

    Road trip time

    Awww man...

I also picked up, what I thought, was a set of 16x8.5 square Salad Shooters...turned out they were 9.5's so I brought em back too aggressive for me.

Fixed a lot of stuff. I also removed powersteering and AC.

Cleaned the engine bay (I have a lot of plans for this guy over the summer)

Did a quick photoshop of what I wanted then. Hah reps, amirite

    Bought some stock weaves

Added yellow film to the high beams and fogs

    Oops haha

    hehe

Bought euro grills and clear turn signals

    Finally "fixed" my valence boo-boo

    Best feature of an E30

    Finally mounted the Futura's

    Before a meet

Broke my selector rod lol nothing like driving home using only 2nd and 4th...

Chop pare did. If only he'd sell me his wheels.

Took some pictures with a friend and his b5 s4

    Got pinkeye :\

    Bought a camera

    Took some pictures

Stripped an E30 for parts. Mainly for the rear subframe.

    Rolled said E30.

    Stanced said E30.

    Fixed the pinkeye

Added a lolvo lip. Don't worry, it's only temporary and I got it for free.

    heh heh heh...

    Went to a meet.

For some reason S|W decided it was nice enough to post on their Facebook page

And the most recent picture taken of her

    Thanks for looking!

As for the future, the major plan (not counting fixing small stuff) currently looks like:

    1. Bags
    2. Refinish/widen Futura's or pick up new wheels. Dunno.
    3. Engine swap (probably M52 with boost later on).
    4. Bodywork/respray original color.

    A little update (mostly theoretical)

    Tentative plan for summer:

Refresh M20 (this will be skipped if 24v comes to fruition)
    - Valve adjustment
    - New-ish oil pan
    - Powder coat valve cover and intake manifold
    - Lots of new gaskets
    - Maybe do a timing belt and water pump (coolant flush included)
    - New radiator (I tried this before but got a bunk radiator)
    - Z3 1.9 shifter w/ DSSR and new bushings

    Suspension/Brakes
    - FULL rear sub frame refresh with Revshift 80A bushings
    - New control arms
    - M3 CAB's
    - Z3 1.9 rack (hopefully)
    - Brake refresh all around

    Wheel shenanigans
    - New tires (205/45 or 215/40 Yokohama s.Drive's for abbi <3)
    - Polish lips
    - See if I can fix imperfections in lips
    - Roll/pull fenders (rears need to be re-rolled, maybe I can get away with just that)
    - Bigger spacers if the rolling/pulling goes well

    Body
    - iS lip and splitter
    - Paint/re-paint some things
    - All red tails
    - De-tint (seems like a massive pain in the ass)
    - Re-coat rocker panels and frame rails/whatever else
    - Euro trim (if I don't spend too much money else where)
    - iS sideskirts (same as above)
    - Smiley's (maybe do HID's in them)
    - I kinda want a mono wiper
    - Been tossing around the idea of wrapping it.......

    Interior
    - Port rear seat for sub unless I find a ski pass through (will probably do this soon, actually)
    - Re-wire my E36 switches (I did a shitty job on the first go around)
    - Wire my sound system so the speakers play off the amp (I think I need new speakers)
    - New steering wheel (GripRoyal or Nardi depending on how baller I am over the summer)
    - Clean the ever living shit out of it

    Misc
    - Take lots of pictures
    - Go to lots of meets/shows

Looking back on this it sure seems like a lot...

    Also took some pictures.

    Someday I'll own a BRZ...

          Got some new parts today.

          Round two for this fucker.

          Bought a thermostat too...

However, I meant to buy the 80 degree one but I accidentally bought the 75 degree one. Maybe it'll be fine for the summer but I think I'll definitely want to change to an 80 degree one for the fall/winter.

Went out and quickly replaced my intake boot.

          Well... that's not right.

Edit: I also bought a bunch of gaskets but those won't be going on for a little while.

            Did some work today.

Replaced the front right wheel bearing and replaced the brakes in the front.

            Silly kitty...

Pretty, new hub. Ugly, gross everything else...

New Brembo blanks. I think I'll clean my fender wells/all the stuff in there when I refresh the bushings and whatnot.

            Art's silly E30.

Rolled Stella out to work on Art's car.

Had to replace the waterpump gasket on his S52.

            Silly puppies.

I'm not really sure what brake pads I had before but these Akebono pads don't have nearly the bite my old ones have. Maybe they'll wear in or something. I hope.
