So one late night I was messing around on craigslist as usual, and saw this beautiful car. It only had 93,000 miles on which seemed like a steal for the price of $3,300. It's a 1983 733i. I wanted a manual car and this being a five speed made me want it even more. The next morning I went to the bank with my dad pulled out a loan and had it in my drive way the next day. Me being 19 this is my first actual car of my own. No more whipping my moms cougar around and beating the shit out of it. That's just a short summary of how I got the car. Within the next couple days I will be installing H&R sport lowering springs. Future plans will be to get the car as low as I can without fucking destroying it. Some audio, and possibly bigger rims. The bbs's are really nice don't get me wrong, but just a tad bit to small. I could just get a set of stretched tires. But who knows? Thanks for looking and let me know what you think! Will be much appreciated!

Just a couple photos for you guys!

I'll be posting A LOT more photos of everything I've done mechanically to the car to get it running right in the last six months of owning it.

My radiator hose was weak causing it to expand and pretty much explode then leak fluid every where. I replaced the Idle control valve do to a rough idle, and also replaced my radiator because I killed the other one. When I first bought the car none of the speakers worked but after rewiring them all, they worked like a charm

This is the new hose I picked up. I was just happy I didn't have to order it and wait.

Oh, and I found this! The original craigslist add! Talked the guy from $3,900 to $3,200.

And just a couple more photos of the car

Red, White, And blue! My friends sti, and my other friends lexus.

I mean, it's not that dirty right?

Beautiful. Bag this bitch. And keep those wheels- widen them if anything. So clean.
If you're in the market for any Euro parts (bumpers, etc) i'll be parting a Euro e23 when I finish this semester, so PM me if your interested in anything then.

I'd say the wheel size is fitting and certainly period correct. see how it looks with a nice drop before anything. great find!

The shift nob and the steering wheel are both racing dynamics.
