  • hardbody wannabe drifttruck build

I have been on here for a while just sitting back and checking out the other trucks that are posted and getting ideas to make my little bucket Hardbody a little better. I am pretty new to trucks and coming from Hondas its a big leap, but i have fallen in love with my truck in the past few months I've owned it. My previous car was a ej1 civic which was my first attempt at any type of real stance on the XXR 530 16x8.25
WARNING:MOST OF THESE ARE PHOTOS I HAD TO SNAG OFF OF INSTAGRAM SO THEY ARE PROBABLY HELLA FILTERED

but i put steelies back on it and tinted the windows because it wasn't very comfortable to commute 30 minutes down the highway everyday to work.

Then a few months after that I made a dumb mistake and flipped the civic which is what brought me to get the Hardbody. I was tired of hondas and wanted something rwd and different for cheap. I found the truck on Craigslist and went to go look at it that day, and decided to get it even with a pretty rusty bed(trying to find a good replacement in my area is definitely seeming to be a problem). but here she is when i first got her before the maiden voyage home with the badass pirate plate.

I did some painting on most of the chrome, plastidipped the wheels, lowered the torsion bars down a bit, removed the middle leaf, clamped the overload and main together, replaced all the shocks with shorter ones, got fresh window tint, and got a s10 lip.

This leads to where i am now, ordered and recived my Level 8 MK6 in 17x9 0 offset with 205/45s mounted on them as of now

Thats really it for now, im looking for a good condition bed now to replace this one, i actually dont really mind the ratty and work truck look it gives the truck right now but ill get tired of looking at the terrible rust coverup job i had to do after the tires rubbed and busted the rust out of the bed sides eventually but until then probably going to do some work on the interior, getting rid of the bench for some fixed back racing seats, a Grip Royal or Avenue wheel, and new carpet.

I will try and get some better pictures for you guys when the weather gets better around here. I am a manager at a full service car wash so i am really picky about how clean my truck is before pictures.

        Hardbody looks clean.

What do you mean you clamped the overload and main spring? What does this do?
Minitrucker by heart, CB7tuner by coincidence.

i would love to do a s13 rear, or id even be content with a rear coil-over conversion

I am planning on doing the Pathfinder headlights and grill, and the Toyota bumper conversion, I just needed wheels after I bent one of my Titan wheels and they had a sale on these so i went ahead and did wheels first. Also plan on going a little bit lower in the rear before coilovers but i need a notch first or i will be frame slapping everywhere.

Thanks man. And its a leaf clamp you get from autozone i got 2 sets because i wanted them completely clamped together, it stiffens up the rear a bit and supposedly lowered it a little bit.

well i got in a wreck today, was going down a small road in a parking lot and a woman cut infront of me and i t-boned her. the front is the only damage, so i will probably doing the Pathfinder headlights and Toyota bumper conversion a little ahead of schedule along with a bed and paint depending on what all i get from her insurance to fit it.

I still never see many people do any body mods very y much to their nissan, pathfinder and truck. I was going to because I have 2 sets of urethane erubuni body kits from germany but my mom wrecked the pathfinder when she went to the store and side swiped a pole

I ended up getting a second hard body after a couple of years, and recently got some wheels.
Sorry for the potato quality. Cracked camera, but better pictures will be posted soon
