StanceWorks really needs more build like this, a lot of us (including myself up until recently) don't realize the level of fabrication going on in different enthusiast "scenes". Most people think shaving your emblems and gas cap is a big deal, but there is some really insane stuff being created, modified and built.
Chop everything to pieces and make it all work, people will be amazed. Liking where this is headed.

Thanks man, I'm a big fan of your 2002 so I really appreciate the kind words. I completely agree that StanceWorks does need more of this. Not tooting my own horn by any means, there is a lot of really amazing fabricators and people who are far better than I am at everything automotive and fabrication related than I am on this forum and it would be inspirational to me and I'm sure a lot of others if there were more. There is a lot to be learned from some of these people.
Building a frame and errything, Where did you learn all that? This is going to be rad.
Like 5 years ago I decided I wanted a bike that I thought was cool so I bought a Yamaha XS650 a welder and a bunch of steel to try an learn to weld. Kind of the same with this, I decided I wanted to build a truck so I shot for the stars and I'm going to make it work.
Also Clifford at http://www.motorcityratrods.com has been a huge inspiration and help. If you like what I'm doing than please check him out, you will not be disappointed.
Got the body sectioned today, the passenger door need a little more work but it turned out pretty well. The floor in the corner is pretty rotten and it's allowing the door jam to Twitter when you open and close the door. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get that patched up and chop the roof.
I was hoping to chop the roof yesterday but I woke up to like two inches of snow on the ground and it pretty much killed all of my motivation to get out into the garage. I've been out there all winter long so it shouldn't have been a problem but the drop from 60 degrees monday to 30 on tuesday really cramped my style. Anyways I got a little bit done, The front corners of the cab and floor are pretty rotten so the passenger door wasn't closing right so I got that taken care of. I'm going to be building a 2x2 frame under the cab to help support everything which will definitely be key once I cut the floor up for the trans and drive shaft tunnel. Anyways I put the cab on the frame and snapped some photos. Chop next monday.
^^ Don't mind the 2x4 tubing, thats holding everything together on that side for the moment^^
Been really busy the last week but managed to get a little work done today. I started by trying to get the king pins out of the front axle because the bushings were all worn out and I wanted to clean it all up a bit. I worked and worked and broke a bunch of stuff but they didn't even budge, I ended up cutting the king pins to get the spindles off and cleaned up and I'm going to take the axle to a machine shop. Then I did some more chopping but my bum friends bailed on helping me so I couldn't get it tacked back together but tomorrow I should have done. Finally I just made some reinforcements for the frame
Going to have to pie the roof and stretch it out a bit but here's an idea of what it will look like
