Firstly apologies if you thought you might see a Delorean in this thread, that is not so.
However I think you will agree my new car I have just put a deposit on is just as cool?!
After the sad demise of my MX3 it was time for something new, or rather old! I wanted something RWD for more fun daily with classic status and pop up headlights. 4 seats and a boot would of been nice, but not a necessity. Looked at FD RX7's & Porsche 944 Turbos but could not hack the impending heavy service bills/engine rebuilds. So it always came back to one car which I have had a soft spot for many a year now.
The Toyota MR2 Mk1. Absolutely adore the styling and had heard & read the handling was none to shabby either! Fitted the bill, sold enough parts from the last build to be able to secure a loan for what is to be my most expensive car purchase to date!
Found this one on a classic car site for sale some 350miles away. They say you should buy the most expensive one you can when making an investment and I sure did. This car looks immaculate, completely standard has 100k miles on it with FSH, but has been sympathetically restore to a very high standard with 4 new genuine wings, new paint & underseal with any rust issues being sorted, full engine service including new clutch, brand new stainless exhuast, stripped and powder coated brake calipers, new nuts & bolts everywhere the list goes on & on it really is incredible and all work carried out by a Porsche specialist too!
