I wish we had Holden's in the US. Hopefully GM doesn't end up killing them like they did to Saab and Pontiac. Keep it coming dude!

I love these things. This is the same as a G8, if I am correct?

The problem is that I don't want to release it on Aussie forums or my fb page as I want it to be a surprise, sort of like a rebirthing
I really appreciate that, means alot. As for the future mods ill sub to this thread, keeping things under wraps until its release is always more fun haha so I dont blame you for hold your cards close. As for the video on you "hooning" those are some extremely sad/bored people, I really feel more sorry for them if they think that is real journalism. Keep it up man I can't wait to see the wheels you get next.

Yeah, built in Australia and then exported to USA under the name of the Pontiac G8. Different front & rear bumpers and bonnet.

Keen to see them. One of the few commodores I actually like. I honestly don't know how you drive that and have a licence.

Ugh...you're one of those fgts that places a Chevrolet badge on a Holden just cause of the engine.

That's like me putting a Nissan badge on my E30 cause it has an Sr20 in it.......

                          Just plain idiotic.

Yeah I used to be, Changed back to holden, not sure if you saw or are you too busy throwing rods in your SR?

                            Anyway, back on topic...

Pulled apart the interior again today. This time to install a GPS. You're probably thinking why did I pull apart the dash, a gps just plugs in. Yes that's true but for anyone who's been in a ve knows the ciggie lighter plug is under the armrest and I **** ugly cables everywhere. So I re routed the power cable in behind the dash to make it nice and neat.

Now gps wise this is a garmin gps which integrates into the cars ecu via a device called an ecoroute. The ecoroute is essentially a device that plugs into the obd2 port and via bluetooth links to the gps.

The good parts is I can view a variety of gauges on the gps display and customise them how I like it. I can also view and clear any error codes. So its essentially a scan tool as well!
