BMW E92 335i - progress thread

man I haven't seen your car in forever!!!

Most of my posts are on Instagram, don't really post much on E90post anymore. But I've got some updates. Got a lot of parts today!

215/40 Toyo T1S, 3,5" lips, Broadway Static for the E92,*Supersport Black Evolution for the E90, some hardware for the wheels. Hopefully I'll finish the E90 tomorrow and the E92 during the weekend. Need to replace the water pump as well so it is going to take a while.
As for those who see there are no air cups installed; Boradway didnt' manage to get more lift than 20mm so they weren't happy with that (neither was I). The shocks on these are sooo short...

Also got some new wheels for the E90. Waxed and ready to go on.

Finished the daily for now. Supersport Black Evolution coilovers and Style 128-wheels installed. Waiting for a 3D-style front lip to arrive.
This makes room in my garage to start one the E92. Water pump/thermostat change out and installing the Broadways.

Pretty happy with the outcome on the daily.

Thank you. Very satisfied with it, the wheels fit the arches like I want them and still I have good driveability.

Sold the bags during the winter. I missed coilovers. I was initially going for coilovers with air cups, but it didn't work out...

Changed the water pump and thermostat yesterday. This was a pain in the ass to do with the car on jack stands. Would be much easier to do with the car on a lift. Well, at least it saved me ~$1000 to do it and I got to check a lot of other things. This is what i did:

- Delete error codes, disconnect battery.
- Drain the coolant
- Disconnect all hoses
- Remove water pump and thermostat
- Re-install everything with new alu-bolts.
- Run the automatic "bleed-procedure" (this is genius)
- Check for leaks, and all good.

Need to fint a small oil leak before I can put the car back on the ground.

Hamann centers are off to the painter, hopefully I'll have them back by the weekend.

Finally got the car back on the ground. Broadway Static feels amazing and handles so good! Even with 16/24k spring rates they feel very comfortable. Will adjust the height when I get the centers back from paint.

I only hearing great things about the Broadway Statics and there ability to well match to stiff springs!

Yeah, they really do some magic with the shocks. They don't feel bumpy at all.

Hopefully I'll have tires on early next week. Need to polish the last lip and 120 bolts....

At least i got my centers back from paint. I am sooo happy with the choice of color. BMW Moonstone Silver. Silver with a yellowish/gold effect. Really changes color in different light.

Thank you! First you clean the interior thoroughly and sand them down, apply 3 coats with sponge and then 3 coats with spray. And then spray a sealer on them. You find a lot of information on furnitureclinic.com, where i bought the kit.

Finally finished polishing the last lip, just need to polish the remaining 120 bolts and mount tires.
