  • Multiple Stance Build, Stance as we Go! SaltySeamen

Hello Stance Nation, this is our first build and it'll be far different than any other current build on this site. When I personally read builds it pains me too see a build which pulls me in and just grabs my curiosity.... but than blah it ends. Just ruins all the progress and motivation which was built up. Well luckily for any one reading this thread, I had a wonderful new idea. This build thread will not be focused on solely just a single vehicle. Yupp clean out your eyes, I did just say that. This thread is a build as we go, meaning any vehicle under my ownership which I own will be suspected to appear on this site. But there is another surprise, this thread will be written by two people. My name is Mark Shoemaker and I will be starting this thread but my twin brother Ian will also be including his progress on his vehicles. One thing many builds lack are the faces of the people writing, You should be able to picture the owner of these vehicle's because cars should represent the true character of a person. Without further adue, Hello guys I'm glad too meet anyone and am looking forward to showing you my progress.

Now unfortunately ive been slacking, pretty much im going to be playing catch up and showing you guys what ive gone through for the past 2 years and show you where I currently am. However, ive lost a lot of pictures and its a shame, so nothing really interesting at first.
I purchased this car about 2 years ago and I was so happy. I always thought crx's were just so rare and id never have the chance to own one myself. I bought this 88 crx si off some guy for $2,000, looking back I paid entirely tooo much but it was my first car and didn't care what it took to get one. Car came with 160xxx miles on the shell and 80xxx on a swapped d16a6. Car has a full dc exhaust, Tokyo blues with ebay coilovers, aftermarket headers. Typically the average mods that any random kid thinks will make him cool.

Now I already know what you're thinking.... WTF. Yupp looking back I still have no fucking clue what I was doing and why I did that shit to my crx. God, just one of those kids right. Car ending up looking like this for quite a while until I stumbled across stance works. Yes, stance literally saved me from that^ mess^^. guys seriously don't stop reading this build because of what you just saw, it does get better lmao. But any who, ive had the car again for 2 years and it dawned on me, its time that I get my shit together. Im 21 years old and am not getting any younger so let the real build begin. So I sanded off that royal blue rustoluem paint which I purchased at home depo, and decided to spray bomb it and begin anew. grabed these 15x8 Aztec green diamond steelies 15et with 195/45/15 tires for $600. I also wanted an aggressive stance so I purchased 33 mil spacers with gave me hella poke. unfortunately, your gonna watch a noob turn into a pro... but first you must witness my awful pass lmao

I didn't really notice how many of my pictures it wont let me upload because of their file size which is really lame, my decent pics of course too big but what ever the show must continue. Got tired of the flat black and decided to sand down the car again but this time I planned to rattle can it. Unlike every other method ive used paint rollers. but heres how rattle canning went.969993_641799685845227_1566623134_n.jpg
than I decided I wanted a roof rack however anyone who owns a crx knows that you can install a roof rack through the door like ever other car so I literally drilled holes in my roof and used some self tapping screws. To top it off bought the basket at Wal-Mart for $100 and called it a day, it adds some character and isn't really something seen everyday.... even though it really serves no purpose other than just to have it lol

                  Fuckkkkkkkkk

welp I still have a lot more pics to upload like a ton, but I guess I done for tonight. I gotta figure out how to make my picture file size smaller so I can actually upload all the good pics. And I realized I was writing stance nation for some reason instead of stance works. thanks guys for reading but stay tuned, ill upload a lot more tomorrow after a decent night sleep
