Well this looks promising, always interested in saloon and wagon builds so I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled on this thread Which rims are you gonna get for this beast?
so change of plans, buying some BC coil overs and picking up some UAS bags and running a bag over coil set up. should have everything by the end of this month.
so ran into a problem already. turns out the struts and bags that I put my down payment on wont fit my car. we were in the knowledge that the 2nd gen 6 suspension would fit the 3gens but after a shit ton of research, a mazda company got back to me and clarified that theyre completely different. so, i got my money back and im now looking into bag over coil setups but i cant even seem to find any companies that have put out coilover kits for my car yet so that might be a dead end. only other option i have is to go for the "blank" airlift struts and take them to a shop and see if they can fab something up.
I'm almost positive BC makes coilovers for the third gen 6.
I'll be following this one. I'm still not sure how I feel about these cars, sometimes the front end looks goofy to me and other times it looks super good. I'm just not huge on Mazda's personally but I think this will turn out cool either way. Hope you get the bag setup figured out!
