Got a few things ordered yesterday!
-Valve cover gasket cause mines leaking a little
    -New motor mounts
    -Garage Star Engine Life Plates
    -Garage Star Skid Plate

Has anyone had experience with installing the skid plate and lift plates? I'm sort of a noob but it doesn't seem to be a very difficult thing to do...

i had two inches of ground clearance on my 94 miata and never needed a skid plate to be honest and these roads here are shit. its all pretty well protected by the cross member and if you have an m then you should have that bar on the rear between the lower control arms to protect the diff

I've been pulling out my hair about coils... megans or racelands?

If you **** having painless spine and all your teeth get the racelands. If you want a nice smooth ride and super easy to adjust coils, get the Megan's. I don't care what people say about racelands being good for the money I've ridden in probably a dozen cars with racelands, one of them being my friends NB miata, and not one rides anywhere close to ok. People talk shit about Megan's because there a cheaper solution to a better quality coilover, I had them in my s2k and they rode as good as the $1100 bc coils I had in my srt4. Spend the extra money and buy the Megan's or even better BC or stance. A lot of people seem to really like the tein in the miata too.

well as i was contemplating coilovers and talking to my dad he talked me into buying my "safety" so i got the harddog double diagonal m1 roll bar ordered.

any one have any input about the megan street vs the ez street? is the stiffer spring worth that much more?

if you have abs or a glass window softtop you will have a bitch of a time with the m1 bar. and the only way racelands are good for the money are at around stock height or with extra $180 spent on extended tophats. i'm running h&r springs with r-model bilstein struts

i have abs but no soft top... what does abs have to do with it?

if i'm not wrong (i got the m2 and didn't have to relocate anything and i have abs) then with the m1 the rear abs lines are directly where the rear foot plates for the roll bar are, you just have to relocate them. because the m2 bends and the m1 goes strait back

Finally got around the getting the rear fenders pulled! heres a quick little peak...
For anyone who is really good with rolling and pulling... How on earth do you get enough leverage to pull the fenders? i feel like im going to shear the threaded part of the roller off.

any way i got my coils ordered the other day and wheels and tires ordered today! i cannot wait till all of my goodies come in

                            Alright HUUUGEEE update!

I've been working a lot more than usual and havent had much time to post what i've been doing.

Well first things first. I put up some new lights in my garage thanks to my dad for letting me hang them!

Then i got right to work putting my GarageStar Engine Lift Plates and Skid Plate on!
You can buy them here http://garagestar.com/shop/ The owner Ken is for sure really knowledgeable and makes great products.

Heres the clearance between the oilpan and the top of the skid plate

And the finished product...i couldnt get those front bolts in cause my arms not long enough but its still strong enough to jack the car from.

I got my wheels and tires in too and stretched.

And my Harddog Roll Bar came in and i immediately went to Home Depot and got some paint.

I also got my top hats from LowSteeze. This weekend ill be installing the roll bar and just waiting for my coils to come in!
