GTFO guys!!! That Swedish one looks very much like mine, minus the sticker or whatever front. IDK about that widebody though. Looks wavy as hell. Got any side shots of it?

Just thought I'd leave this here. From some kind of Swedish forum.

This doesn't feel like much of an update, but I guess I've still been busy. I put down a deposit on a rental house. Should fit perfectly for the next year... Since it has a garage! Not to mention a toilet, walls, and a roof. You know those other important things. Anyway, that tightened the wallet a bit since I don't own decent enough furniture to warrant renting a truck to move it all down here. What I did manage to do was get the wheels apart. Which was cake.

Find lips that looked like this:

And hardware that I deemed trash.

Got the new barrel in as well as these bad boys!

Decided removing the chrome was going to cost too much. Painted lips it is. Had to start sanding. Chrome sucks, and breaking my da sander does too. But I'm here now.

Ordered new studs for the backside of the faces and nuts all around. Which have yet to come in... And got bored with the stock wheels again.

Still have to test fit the 10's in the rear. As well as order some crap. Got a move to do in 3 weeks, so I won't likely have much for about a month. I do realize I need a camera, and am currently accepting donations. Honestly, I think air is on the backburner. I'm dying to get these wheels done, and I've got a bit more money to lay into them before that happens. Plus with the house and having nothing to put in it, that'll be a setback as well. I'm sure when I have the wheels on I will find motivation the motivation and funds to get her sitting just right. Comment's welcome, since I am posting this in a public forum

Definitely needs polished lips. Not sure the color for the centers.

Polished with the white faces 😁, but then again I'm biased

Trying to decide on colors at this point. All the parts to build them up are ordered. I got a great deal on this set, and with a standard 5 spoke design I think it'll work out great too.

    Thanks dude!

    So what do you guys think as far as color? These are the two options I'm throwing around right now;

-Grey/silver lips and barrels, polished bolts, color matched faces
    or
-Polished barrels, lips, and bolts, white faces

wasnt a fan of the plasti dip wheels in any colour apart from standard, but black went with the chrome bits you done, like where this is going though

Ordered the replacement barrel for the front, and ordered a pair of lips for the rear. New plan=

6" barrel and 3" lip front for 9" overall
6.5" barrel and 3.5" lips rear for 10" overall

I'll post pics as soon as the parts arrive. Still haven't decided on colors yet.

Haha! 9.5 fits just right, flush, no spacer for strut clearance at about 40et. If u wanna do a little pulling and some good stretch a 10 should fit too. We will see how much real world clearance I have once I get tires.

Oh HELL YES! I'm planning to fit at least 9.5 in the rear of mine, so I'm really excited to see how yours turn out.

So I've found and purchased some wheels. Craigslist of course 3 piece Asanti's in 19x8f and 19x9.5r. One had a bend which I straightened. Then found out after straightening and pulling the tires that one of the rears was a 9" with the other being 9.5".

So what I am working with actually is 2 1.5" lips, 2 3" lips, 3 6.5" barrels, and 1 6" barrel. The plan is to do 9's up front with 6" barrels and 3" lips, and 9.5's out back with 6.5" barrels and 3" lips. Already ordered the spare barrel and working with a vendor on here for a pair of 3" lips. They need some refinishing of course, but all in all I am happy with the sub $800 tag with everything said and done. Here's the test fit pics with a 9" in front and a 9.5" out back on top of a 9mm spacer to clear the inner strut.

I tried to fit some Mercedes wheels a little while back. However, I converted to studs to be able to run thicker spacers, and I can't seem to find any wobble nuts. I am going to make air the priority anyway, so it's ok. Thanks for the info though, JRod.
