yeah well it can't be to complicated, i had the idea from seeing it done in some old magazines, so can't be to hard, but that was a time before build threads…i think the only trouble will be fixing it up to existing inside door handle (don't know if your keeping OEM door cards) and also its gotta fit in without blocking the window mechanism

unless theres a way to connect handles to existing door workings of jetta…

loving the gold details, and wheels are nice and shiny!

can you post some pics of the door handle conversion? how are you fixing them up inside the door to make them work?
Thanks. I haven't even really looked into what I need to do to make them work. I'll figure it out when I get there, and I'll be sure to update on how so.

I got a coolant res, brake res, and short runner made up from Haggard Fab. Nice guy a does good work so I wanted to support him. I polished up a few pieces really quick and painted majority of my motor parts Anniversary Gold. Also Greg (wasteofmoney) and I got the block rebuilt and assembled. I picked up some caps for my rs's as well.

My attention has turned to the mk4 again, who would have guessed right ha. I bought a set of wheels (Tracer Tech 2s) for it and plan to do something to it for SOWO. Not having a car you want to go to meets and such in kinda bummed me out now that the weather is nice.

I know a lot of people use Instagram these days too, so feel free to follow me on there for more updates, as I am sometimes slow as updating threads. @deadbuilt_woody

Got back to the car a bit this evening. Took the old sub frame out to get the new one in. Need to mock up and do my notch for the axles then I will get the bay finished. Friend of mine worked on my handle some while I was sleeping for Water by the Bridge.

I'll have a set of radials for the front.

Haven't posted many updates lately. Started body work on the engine bay. Also been collecting more parts for the car. Got my euro bumpers in, plan to smooth and paint them. Also found a subframe at the junkyard yesterday, so whenever the motor is back together, painted, and parts polished I can start mocking up things in the engine bay. I've never really messed with engine internals and rebuilding, etc... so it's a fun new take on learning something new.

Decided to throw the dash in for a quick glance also. Decided to ditch the idea of wrapping my free mk3 seats and just source another set of MKIV recaros to go with the dash.

There's nothing cooler than a Jetta coupe. The door handles and mirrors aren't personally to my taste, but I'm curious to see what they'll look like. Makes a change from the usual! Loving the smooth plated bay
