                      UPDATES!!!

I went to Honda Day in NJ this past weekend, and took home 2nd place for 98-up Accords. Here's a few pics from this weekend:

Now that Honda Day is over, I'm working on a few more mods to get ready for the rest of the show season. First up is a real carbon fiber skinned engine cover. I picked up an engine cover from a Honda Crosstour which uses the same engine as my accord. First step was to shave the Honda emblems and fill in with body filler

Once the filler was all smoothed out, I laid on the carbon fiber fabric using 3M spray adhesive.

Next i started laying on the resin. I'm headed for 4 coats total before i begin to get it all flat and polish it up. Here is how it stands after two coats.

I'm hoping to get the last 2 coats on tomorrow and give it overnight to dry before i begin to get it flattened out. Stay tuned!

So i decided to do a front big brake conversion on the car. I picked up a set of Brembo calipers meant for a Acura TL type S. These will bolt up to the stock knuckles, i just need to enlarge the caliper mounting holes a little bit. Here are the calipers, freshly rebuilt with new paint, decals, and high temp clear. I am running these with a Honda S2000 rotor and a 5mm spacer. Hoping to get these on the car tomorrow.
