i the word stance is tossed around very freely now adays. stance usually means wheels, slamm, and rukus. or at least thats what every car show ive been to was about.... but you Never hear about stance in the Marine industry. thats why i took some time off from the car scene and car builds, and got involved with a local group of guys who ride jet skis...
So time came, i picked my self up a 2005 yamaha waverunner GP1300R. fuel injected, 2 stroke with a ton of bells and whistles.
It did Not have a working motor, so i ended up totally overhauling the motor top to bottom.
It was in no way shape or form lookin good, so i thought it was time to address the look of it. This time ill get to do ALL the things i always wanted to do to a car, but would never get away with on a car... Marble paint, Checkered flags, and some custom work with gauges and so on.... been working on it for a few days now, should see some frequent updates. I hope you guys like it, if not , Mehhh oh well, plenty of other builds on here.
The Ski
when i got it!

When i pulled the Motor apart, it took on alot of water. Needless to say it needed a full on motor rebuild.

after a Full on rebuild, it was starting to look like progress.

After motor was put back together ski ran great which brings me to TODAY.
doing a fully body overhaul or should i say, "over HULL" har har har.
It had a very nasty chunk taken out, the previous owner really molested this thing, so it needed some fiberglass repair work.

more to come soon!
