B5 A4 - OZ Futura - UK Build

I thought i'd start a build thread for my new car as I have now collected quite a few parts!

My old car was a 1.6 MK4 that ended up like this..

That's now gone and was replaced with a dark blue B5 1.9TDI 115, I was looking for a little while but happy i brought the right one! Even managed to get a undamaged MFD

I've done a few small things like get my plate on, split and clean my headlights, new steering wheel etc

My EGR delete and Shallow Sump have been delivered, should be putting them on next weekend
Then i can sort an exhaust and a map out.

I knew what wheels I wanted for the car, and I had the money waiting for a while but nothing right turned up..
I ideally wanted 18's but some 17's came up at a good price and the right widths etc, so went on a 2.5 hour drive to get them!

Got the tyres off now and ordered the sockets i need to split them!
Tried them on with the car high just to make sure they clear the arms etc

Will need some spacing in my opinion, and the lips are being sent off to be polished soon, and i've found someone to paint the faces

Next month i'm ordering coilovers, and i think im decided on what to get

I have a lot more plans in mind for this car though for over the summer

futuras and b5s are my weak spots. Its gonna be hard to disappoint with that setup! cheers!

I was set on these wheel before i even brought the car

Ordered the sockets i need to split the OZ's, should be here tomorrow, then i can get the lips sent off to be polished!

Patiently waiting for a set of leathers to pop up

A bit of an update with the wheels i got them split pretty quickly

Then took the faces to my uncles garage the next morning and prepped and painted the centres

Dropped the lips off with a polisher today, so will be picking them up next weekend!

In the meantime im making progress with the bolts, all 152 of them :/

Made quite a lot of progress with the wheels now, first I got my caps sorted..

I also found time to fit my EGR delete, which has made such a difference to how the car boosts!

Will probably build them next weekend, once all the bolts are done

Coiloves should be here soon, then I can get some real work done, but for now im rolling my arches this weekend!

The wheels are finally all built up and i am in love!!

Im ordering tyres next week and my coilovers should arrive any day now, then i get to cut them up

It's also booked in for some bodywork at the end of April

Ive been a bit busy the past few weeks, trying to get things in place for an upcoming show this sunday

After being messed about by a supplier for some ST coilovers, I ended up buying a set of vmaxx coilovers and saving myself some money

Got my tyres fitted last tuesday

I also got my coilovers shortened, to maintain ride quality when wound down

Spent saturday fitting them at my friends house, it was a bit of a ballache but managed to do the fronts without having to remove the upper pinch bolt

So its not sitting like this..

Its wound down so low so i can see the dimples in the turrets appear, so we know where to cut the holes for the UCA's on friday

Did a quick test fit of the wheels, but stupidly took no pictures

Rear width seems good but the front needs to come out quite a bit cause of the natural camber, the plan is to add camber to the rear to match the front, but i doubt i'll be able to do that this week.

So i'll be running drift car stance haha
