well technically you should use a liquid sealer but since my setup isn't permanent yet i'm using plumbers tape until i figure out the final configuration.

I unscrewed all the fittings and triple wrapped em and there are no leaks now.

      BAGS INSTALLED!!!!

finally installed the rear bags...only took about an hour or so.

      Rear spring removed

this bolt must be removed to access the platform where the bag goes. Had my friend bounce up and down on the hub while i pushed the bag in

Bolt on the bag mounting bracket goes through the hole in the bottom of the platform (these are not the technical terms...lol)

      Lines run and secured

Make sure to install the lines BEFORE you put everything back together!!!!

      INSTALLED!!!

      All the way up

so we pulled out the front bags to adjust something.
the plastic piece needs to be fully seated into the metal strut tower mount

we had a BMW party (there are 3 more not pictured here)
we were installing a supercharged S54 in my friend's M3, motor is rated for 1200 HP, should put down around 800 rwhp when finished.

drove this beast while there: 400-500hp 300Z Twin Turbo Convertible

one hell of a great day!!!

Finally got rid of those old wheels and bought several OEM wheels. I will be modifying some of them (making them deep dish) and selling others (if anyone is interested)

              16" Style 5's

              Style 17's

              Style 29's

              Style 13's - 2 sets

and the stock wheels that came with the car
              Style 45's

about to sell almost all of these and just rock the set of 17" style 5's i'm about to pick up

if anyone has the 17" BMW steelies I am very interested...please contact me!!!

So two weeks ago I was driving on the interstate and my driver's front bag suddenly deflated. I aired it back up and it immediately went down again.
And if you're not aware, riding on a fully deflated airbag is like riding on struts with no springs in them. So I pulled over immediately and found a hole in the bag. I drove to a safe place and was so thankful that I had free towing with my insurance.

I pulled the bag, took lots of pics and sent the bag back to Universal Air Suspension. I called them and they said that usually holes are driver error due to improper installation or rubbing and that I would have to pay to replace it (I knew this was not the case but was still so worried).
i had a reply back in a day or so telling me that based on the pics it was obviously a manufacturer defect and they overnighted me a bag.
I was back on the road in less than a week but it was still so annoying. They said defects like that almost NEVER happen outside of the testing lab...go figure it would happen to me :/

damn man that sucks, i was driving along the other day trying to imagine what happens if a bag bursts, then i was running through scenarios of how i would get the car recovered when its on the floor haha.

glad you got it sorted though!

sorry for being gone sooooo long. I haven't done anything to the wagon but drive it and get better wheels.

it is now for sale and i cannot wait to get rid of it!!! Time to buy a house and get a drift car.

                    All Aired UP

heard a lot of mixed feelings on this product but it def worked for me. If you apply it improperly, it will obviously not work
