so after spending a few days hunting for a replacement centre cap badge, i posted on a few forums asking if anyone knew where to look... to my complete amazement, 'mike the polisher' (a wheel refurbishment/polisher in the UK) sent me one for free! even paid the postage. incredible customer service, really cannot thank him enough. ive managed to bend the centre cap ring back into shape so thats back at the paint shop getting sorted out too. The hex nut took a bit of a beating, and will never be perfect again, but ive managed to polish it back up and sand out most of the damage. i'll get a photo up when ive got the cap ring back in a few days.


I also have something big in the works, not really sure if its going to go ahead yet but im definitely excited... more soon hopefully

Shame about the caps :/ looks so good with them but then again it looks a little more aggressive with out them which is never a bad thing

I've driven with my RFs for two years and none of mine ever fell off. You sure it was tightened all the way?

yeah they were all tight, it was raining really really heavy, not sure if that has anything to do with it, but i was equally surprised. it was definitely locked tight as when i recovered the remains of the cap the centre nut was still in the locked position, looks like i wont be driving with them any longer!

but those rear lights definately looks better.

so a bit of an update..

i finally got some US spec rear lights from germany. i wasnt sure at first but ive definitely come round to them.

and then yesterday while on the motorway in some really heavy rain one of my centre caps came off. luckily one of my friends was following and saw it so stopped to pick it up, not so luckily though, its now trashed, the outer ring needs to be repainted, the centre hex nut is all scratched and bashed up, and the BBS badge is gone entirely so i need to find a new one.

so ive taken the other 3 off, and will probably never drive with centre caps on again haha. i'll just put them on for shows and stuff.
