So I picked up a $50 pocket bike from my buddy Christof. It started its life out as some type of 110CC 4spd manual pocket bike that looked something like this:

Well. when i recieved it it looked a bit more like this.

So that was good. notable features include:
Suicide jockey shifter

Brazed Warsteiner keg converted into a gas tank (which I will figure out some way to keep functional!)

oh and the sweet hella lamp that was added on the front.
So I started tearing it down and grinding on a set of handlebars to make under-bars

Hopefully they'll fit up nice. need to finish cleaning them up and drill holes to mount them.
So I took the starter off (Christof deleted the wiring and battery for it so no reason for it to be there if I have a kick starter)

gonna make some kinda plate to block that off or just clean up the starter and put it back on for looks to fill the gap where it was (featuring wires everywhere)

took the foam seat off of it and the carb to clean it. Who knows if it'll work again, it may have just been full of bad gas and needed a clean. Anyways heres some more of the dang wires that occupy the engine space

Took the exhaust off and I'll probably clean it up and heat wrap it (this is gonna be a cafe racer pocket bike, by the way) I have a number of mufflers to choose from, which i may dress up to fit the bike's looks. Here's two of them.

Just need to make it a bit quieter or extend the exhaust so it doesnt dump right into my crotch. Right after is ideal.
oh yeah and I need to figure out how to make the brakes work or just get a new brake system because the setup I have is gummed up with all sorts of debris and doesnt work. Either that or I can retrofit this wire brake system that doesnt work on brake fluid

got the carb back together

took the front wheel off to clean it up.

I'm thinking about just going all out(because this is just a silly little project) and pulling everything down to the frame. Cleaning the rough edges, tucking the wires in neat places, and painting the frame D-schwarz like my car and the wheels BBS gold
naturally this needs to find it's home somewhere on the bike

wish I could mount these guys on the bike, but they're getting cleaned up and saved for my thing that has 4 wheels

Anyways that's about as far as I've made it. Not sure how often this will get updated but I'm hoping a cafe racer style stupid little pocket bike is in store. God knows I need another dumb project.
Cheers!
