In the next month or so I plan to get the brakes drilled for the 5x100 pattern, mount the S-Drives on the Heritages, and finally get some real wheels on Kermit! In the meantime, Elisha is digging into the metal fabrication. Can you say mini tubs?

Are you going to mod the motor at all? I feel like with that much wheel you are going to have trouble getting the thing moving. I just picked up a 73 fast back and finally got it going after about 3 weeks of it being on jack stands. Like where this is going.

The 17's with S-Drives have a smaller overall diameter than the stock wheels and tires, and weight about 5 pounds less... so power won't be a problem.

But to answer your question, for now the engine is stock except for a set of Solex carbs. Next winter we'll be doing an EJ25 swap though.

Thanks! We're doing our best to repair all the rust but keep the patina. That's harder than it sounds.

Yup, I was just discussing with Coty this evening what to do about all the rust.

I hoped that I was going to be able to just make some outer rockers and call it good, but it looks like we'll have to buy some used heater channel/rocker panel assemblies from out west somewhere. I'm still going to have to make patch panels for the upper areas though.

I see a lot of welding in my future...
