    Bought some winter wheels..

Not in the bestest of condition but a bit of tlc, they do just fine.

I've disappointed a few people with my colour choice..

Reflex silver, same as the van..

Make shift drying table! Not the cheapest way of drying paint! Lol.

    Good enough for me.

Gonna need to paint the drum and 30mm spacers, minimum! Lol.

VagROOTS next Saturday at the Ace Cafe. Get involved.

It's my first engine build so we'll see how it all goes! Lol..

Started to break down the engine for Aqua blasting, skimming and honing..

    Piper modified cam, possibly? Lol

Turbo elbow, possibly cast by orks in a cave. Gonna need a pit of polishing me thinks.

I lick of paint before tidying up.

Broke down the turbo for cleaning a rebuilding.

I need to clean up the fins and casing, anyone know of anything I can soak it in?

    Some original literature.

New winter wheels.. Need a little tlc, but nothing I can't handle.

Looking forward to this, I've always liked the idea of a turbo'd PB engine

    New buy..

    (eBay photo)

    Retro goodness..

Turbo technics 1984 conversion, on 1.8 8v PB.

Came with more history on the motor than most second hand cars! Lol..

    Original un used boost gauge.

    Original badges..

That's all the clean bits, I'll get some greasy shots when I get it down the unit and all unpacked..

    This thing is superb.

I love the fact you painted it yourself, and got it spot on. Well done.
    Those dials are bad ass.
and the interior is looking silky.

Personally, I'd love to see it with the VW badge back on the rear, but hey.

Funny you should say that! I emailed a guy just the other day to see if he could cut me something for it!

Thanks bro! Yeah, the back end did look a bit bare before..
