          Little progress..

Brake and fuel lines are bolted on, couldnt get the fuel lines to settle as good as i'd wanted (the ready bent lines were sh*t). Got the other trailing arm mounted and trailing arm brake pipes bent.
Forgot to take the camera with me, so no pics. Sorry!

Pondered about the front ABS setup past weekend. I installed E34/E32 ABS rings for the rear axle, so need to fit corresponding rings to the front axle as well. Of course this turned out not to be a bolt on job..
The E28 ring is bigger in diameter than E34 ring. So i need to make a custom ring or move the sensor. Decided to move the sensor.

Original sensor mount and E34 bearing in place:

New mounting point of sensor (E34). Adapter plate will be cut out from 3-4mm steel plate with laser. The plate will be bolted to the original brake shield mounting points..

As a bonus i can use E34 sensors which cost a lot less than E28 sensors.

I dont want to delete any original equipment. ABS must have been one hell of a cool feature back in '85.

I'd like to add A/C, but the intercooler takes too much space to fit the condencer..

P.S. Adapter looks like this, there should be a 1mm gap between sensor and ABS ring:

EDIT: a friend of mine saw my topic and just called. He said that there are ABS-rings with two different diameters on E34's. Apparently the one i have for mock up is the smaller. Have to check the E28's ring diameter next time im at garage. Might be that i dont need the adapter plates but different bearings/hubs..
