  • oh lord, my accord.

I'm Eric. from North Texas. I've been on and off this site for a long while and figured I'd share my new daily project with you guys. I bought a cheap daily driver car with the intentions of having something reliable, efficient, and somewhat cool. I ended up with this:

it has lowering springs new tokico blues, prelude shifter, 3 inch stainless cat-back, upgraded clutch, fresh set of tires on steelies, fresh hubcaps, and an intake. I've done a lot to it to make it run right. thing is a total sleeper. the interior is complete and pretty clean. the car is a hoot and I plan on keeping it. lots of cleaning it up and slamming it on coils to do.

I loved that car ever since I saw it in Super Street. thing is dope. not sure how far I'm gonna take this one, but that is certainly an inspiration. the color is more of dark dark greyish black. I might get it re-done in the oem color. I'll post some better pics soon but some parts of the body still look good. probly just needs a good cleaning haha

Have you done anything to it?

Looks like a good platform, but if you haven't started building this i'd wait on the build thread!

I have done a lot of work to the motor to make it run good. I didn't really take any pics of that. this is a daily driver. and its on a tight budget. maybe many awesome will happen, maybe not. stay tuned. I will post pics of me actually working on it once the weather gets better lol here are some more for now.

it looks like a ricer fart can, but it actually sounds pretty nice. so its only obnoxious looking

          blast off cockpit

this to show how low the front end is. the header scrapes on all the driveways and speed bumps.very tricky navigation required sometimes.

Welcome to the CB club! I picked up mine for the same reason. 40+MPG FTW. Oh, and dump ittttt.

Also, if youre planning on making it like the car you pictured, you might want to reconsider a wire tuck. PITA to deal with on a daily.
                Simple.

well, Its the closest thing to a "sleeper" I've owned before. its not 100% stock, but its not super obvious either. I like the way it pulls and sounds. the 5 speed and the clutch it has makes it fun.

thanks! no wire tucks for me. I do plan on slamming it and getting some wheels. I like the look of these cars slammed on 16s or 17s.

It's not flat black. it's faded factory paint (dark charcoal? black?) and its really dirty.

on Saturday, I'm installing f&f type 2 coils, and painting the front bumper, all the trim, and a few other things to clean it up.

the hubcaps and steelies are staying for now.

That's not true. I have a wire tucked car and its not a pain in the ass to work on. Many things are easier because less shit is in the way.

On topic, the car looks like a great start. I just recently regained interest in my dd cb7. By the way, what are you dropped on?
