  • Getting my y33 started.

Hey guys! I figured it's finally time to get this build thread started. There have been a few good updates to my car in the past few days.

    Quick run down:
    -98 black/black Q45T
-68k miles at purchase in October 2012, currently 91k.

Got my BC coilovers last week after a 10 week long wait involving some complications I won't go into here.

This car originally came from NYC where I purchased it and drove it back to Memphis, so it had a little bit of rust. My coilover install was a nightmare haha. By the end of it, the car got bags, coilovers, rear upper and lower control arms, front outer tie rod ends, new ball joints, and new 3/8" lines. It was a busy 2 days.

Wheels are Leon Hardiritt Waffes. 19x11/12 negative offsets. 235/35/19 acceleras and 275/30 acceleras.

    Stock:

Wheels (to be refinished in the spring hopefully)/test fit:

    Process shot from initial fitment:

The guy who rolled my fenders took a few shots before he gave me the car back on Christmas eve. Talk about the best christmas present after the car had been down/no suspension since September!

          I do love a clean Y33!

EDIT: As an aside, I think StanceWorks has warped my fragile little mind. I've become so accustomed to pics of crazy low cars that when I saw that pic of the car when stock, I was convinced for a minute that somebody had lifted the damn thing.

Thanks guys! Near future plans include headlights, grill, and tint but we'll see what happens! My rear stretch is a little sketchy but it's working out haha.

Doing some s2000 part outs or just like the fenders on your wall haha. I spy some red s2000 seats on a shelf too.
