Hello hello. I've had my e34 for almost 3 months now so I figured I might as well throw up a build thread. It probably won't be much of a build til spring bc I can never find motivation in winter haha But here she is so far. I don't own a camera so everything will be iphone pics. Sorry
She's obviously an alpine weiss II 89 535i. 5 speed car, 3 owners and spent most of her life in Cali. No accidents and all of the original VIN tags intact. When I brought her home the only things that didn't work was the cruise control and glove box handle was gone. (and the brake light switch went out on the drive back) But other than that I was happy. 219,000 on the clock but as well maintained as it was I had no worries. I was given 2 books and a thick folder of all maintenance.
Here is the listing of when I bought it with all the maintenance and upgrades she received from the pervious owner.

Enough introductions. Onto the pics.

Replaced the radio with one that I thought was fairly inconspicuous and had ipod hookup.

Like I said when I bought it the glove box handle was broken so I replaced that.

The P.O gave me the stock rear diff he took out when he put the 3.91 LSD in so I sold it online.

I had to snap a pic of this milestone. She's earned every mile.

I've never cared much for black wheels but my friend needed the cash for these since he completely changed his m3. (The hellrot lsx build on here.) So I went ahead and took them off his hands. I love some concave wheels.

The keys I got with the car were junk so I got these off ebay for like $12. Had a local place cut both for $30. Not bad considering BMW wants $30 per key.

We all know how old BMWs have faded grills and I'm trying to delete all chrome trim so I pulled everything apart and painted it. I used Satin trim black plastic paint from Autozone. If you do the last couple of coats real light it gives it a textured trim look like new trim.

And a shameless whore pic of my bike!

Took a little road trip to Chicago. I've driven up there 4 or 5 times now and never had a bit of problems. Old BMWs with high miles are nothing to be afraid of if maintained.

A little personal hygiene for me and the land yacht.

Parts rolling in.

A trip to the junk yard for new bumper and door trims and what do I find? A mint car phone!

Cleaned under everything bc Im OCD as f*ck.
