Recieved my strut inserts today, need to put some spacers in the bottom of them to shim them up some. More low will be coming later. Much more low...

Hopefully this shop has that paint code, and your right I haven't seen another violet one. How would it look with a black interior though wouldn't it clash rather than tan?

Violet for sure. I've never seen another violet E34 but I've seen tons of black ones.

Thanks guys, and unfortunately the color won't stay it is in terrible condition and it's time for a respray. What do you guys think jet black or madeira violet. I like the idea of the violet with gold plated faces but you just can't beat a black e34.

    Another E34 ruined.....

.....is what an idiot would say. I say the only way to go with a stock E34 is down, and this wears it's low SOOOOOO well, especially in that color.

Front struts have been cut and welded back together. I took out a total of 2.5 inches from the tube housing, waiting for the inserts to come so I can install and see how low I can get.

Now for the sleeves i will be using:
A-1 racing coilovers sleeves 5 inches and the A-1 Racing Spring lower perch.
Item numbers are 12452H. The I.D is 2.17

This is a WAY cheaper alternative than buying a set of 1000+ coilovers. I only spent 76.56 on the sleeves and the lower perches, and am using ebay flat top hats. Also plan to pick up camber plates for the front. Tell me what you guys think so far!

I have also started on my custom coilovers to go about three inches lower in the front.
Picked up a pair of complete strut assemblies for 40 bucks for the pair.

So updating the thread a little bit. I have found some trim pieces such as the dash and center console in black and also a black leather shift knob and leather boots for my knob and e-brake.
