Inserts finally arrived today. Also i am looking for e34 Front seats black, if anyone knows anyone that is selling them pls let me know, i just need seats now. I also pickup a driver side latch assembly and micro switch since it quit on me awhile ago. Picked up some camber plates as well. Pics coming later.
Hopefully this shop has that paint code, and your right I haven't seen another violet one. How would it look with a black interior though wouldn't it clash rather than tan?
Thanks guys, and unfortunately the color won't stay it is in terrible condition and it's time for a respray. What do you guys think jet black or madeira violet. I like the idea of the violet with gold plated faces but you just can't beat a black e34.
Front struts have been cut and welded back together. I took out a total of 2.5 inches from the tube housing, waiting for the inserts to come so I can install and see how low I can get.
Now for the sleeves i will be using:
A-1 racing coilovers sleeves 5 inches and the A-1 Racing Spring lower perch.
Item numbers are 12452H. The I.D is 2.17
This is a WAY cheaper alternative than buying a set of 1000+ coilovers. I only spent 76.56 on the sleeves and the lower perches, and am using ebay flat top hats. Also plan to pick up camber plates for the front. Tell me what you guys think so far!
I have also started on my custom coilovers to go about three inches lower in the front.
Picked up a pair of complete strut assemblies for 40 bucks for the pair.
So updating the thread a little bit. I have found some trim pieces such as the dash and center console in black and also a black leather shift knob and leather boots for my knob and e-brake.
So new list of things to do are:
Install custom front coilovers
Complete tan to black interior swap
Install longtube headers
Install s50 cams
Pick up some works 18x10, 18x9
I will post some pictures later so stay tuned!!
