So small update today. Decided to do a wooden trunk, threw around the ideal a couple of times and decided to pull the trigger. Here are some pics.

Going to pick up some crown molding to finish the sides.

My top hats were bent when I pulled them out, so I just ordered replacement ones. Also I was using a shorter spring and wanted to compensate for the height so I opted for conical ones instead of flat. You could prob get away with it if they are in good condition otherwise I played it safe and replaced.

I cut three inches from front strut housing and had them welded. The rears are just brand new stock struts with a-1 racing coilover sleeves, and iPD springs. I can go VERY low with this setup, threaded to the top I have 1 inch oilpan clearance. And the ride quality is perfect.

Kyb gr2 the black ones. They were 30 a piece brand new and came with a lifetime warranty so they are a win in my book

Lowering my e34 but I can't decide what way to go about it.
    Sleeves are from A-1 Racing 2.17 I.D
Top hats are A-1 Racing 2/12 I.D. To me this is the best way to slam your car and have perfect ride quality F@&$ spending 1200 on some coilovers lol.
