  • Igor: The Reserection of an e28

Well, I'm the new owner of Igor. I can tell it was a well received car by many on this forum. On my way out of Bend I ran into some of its friends on my way back to Portland. Once I got him home, my kid's were excited to help unload him and proceeded to play inside.

I will have to find some seats and some other goodies. But for now getting it running and driving will be my main goal.

Alright, I've had this for to long and still haven't got it running. I have replaced the head gasket, resurfaced the head, put everything back together only to find that there are several wires that were melted. I replaced them and still it is not running. However I did take a volt meter to some wires and have found a short somewhere in the ground wires. Still trying to sort the out what was done with wiring. If anybody would like to help me out that would be great. I have about 1/2 amp reading on the ground and when I flip the toggle it increases. Getting close but close doesn't get it running.
