Got some merch in the mail, my righteous garage sticker and license plate frame, as well as a deathsquad shirt and stickers 100% evil. The deathsquad gear i know is from a user on the forums here and i love his build and progress as well as some inspirations for the wheels so i had to help them out.
Looking to do a proper photo shoot of the wheels when i get a better camera.

Had a bit of an incident yesterday. Was coming home from work and roads werent ploughed. Hit a patch of black ice on a downhill and it veered my car into a snowbank, i ended up hitting a lamp post and knocking it over. The bumper is "fine", the paint had chipped off but no biggy, i wanted the car to be repainted anyways. But the gold intercooler didnt really survive too much.

I contacted Mishimoto since they have lifetime warranty on there products. The car still runs fine, no cracks in the end tanks, just alot of f***ed up fins and bars. Considering the impact of the hit im surprised i didnt take any damage for myself.

So heres an update as to whats being collected and bought.

Right off the bat im gonna let people know mishimoto is probably one of the best guys to go to for cooling. I damaged my original gold one pretty bad and i sent them pictures and a reciept of the original and they sent me one for free (70.00 Shipping) Definitely gonna be buying more from them.

A few bent fins. Nothing i cant fix with a flat head.

Over the course ive been buying more tools to do work on my own in the driveway. I finally got accepted to college for Automotive technician which is great timing for everything since ill be needing alot of these things.

Bought SAE and MM wrenches as well as a cut off and grinding disc set 20 bucks each..

Bought wratcheting wrenches SAE and MM for 35 bucks each, pittsburgh torque wrenches in various sizes for 80 bucks all together, some gloves, and pieces from an enjuku order which i also got.

The order from Enjuku came in finally and i bought myself some Buddy Club racing lug nuts in 12x1.50

Ill buy a gold set from Mishimoto once i get a set of locks for the wheels as well. Bought some race Ramps for the driveway as i definitely know ill need them later to jack up the car.

Bought the Adapters from Novustech, 15mm adapters from 5x110 65.1 hub to 5x114.3 72mm hub. Paid $380.00 for all four corners in total, should be getting them before the end of the month. Currently saving some money for Yokohama S drive tires, 225/35/18 fronts and 245/35/18 rears for a nice stretch. Also for now on the season i plan to buy a Lexus Sc400 in july so im gonna purchase Fortune Auto Coilovers to get a little bit more planted to the earth, the air ride will come hopefully before the end of the year.

Pics of the wheels, specifically the rear.

                  Dont mind the dust

                  Lip Measurement,

So thats it for now, will be assembling more tools, specifically a mig welder and some sheet metal to get ready to fit the wheels with tires and make a wide body out of this can of tuna.
Unfortunately when it snows up here in canada with 2 feet of snow it is a bit hard to get work done.

This, I had a harbor freight Pittsburgh torque wrench, and was putting bolts at 80 pounds when the wrench said 25. snapped those bolts in half. Buy the husky, that's what I have and its great, pretty accurate for the price too. My fried has a $400 torque wrench that's all fancy swiss made, and digital. Point being don't be a bitch, buy the most expensive one you can find lol.

i use alot of pitsburgh tools. stuff thats supposed to cost over 70 but costs 15 or 20 at harbor freight, in my experience, you get what you pay for. i use a of the sockets wratchets and other tools. for the most part hand tools are ok and if not u can return them but the torque wrenches are terrible

So i decided to day to take off my bumper and see what i can salvage off of the car and decide if i really need to buy a new front bumper.

Put her on the race ramps, was easy to tell when to stop because they stopped me lol.

And yes im doing this in -20 weather, THANKS CANADA

First to get the bumper off is to pop the hood and take out the clips holding in the grille center. Unfortunately for me, they all broke off.

Next , is to go into the wheel well on each side of the car and take an 8mm head and screw out two of the nuts at the bottom of the well, and one 10mm on top of the well. Then USUALLY you go under neath the car and undo the 8mm screws holding into the cross member but all my plastic undershield completely tore of so i got to skip a step.

Took a look underneath the car to see if any real damage

Not much real big damage, couple hoses pulled out and the rad smacked a bit but nothing to worry about, intercooler piping is still in good shape.

Got the Bumper completely off, and luckily no dents or damage there.

One thing i **** seeing is bad routing -.-

Driver side indicator was ripped out as well, and the head light washer was ripped out. Unfortunately the headlight washer has like a T clamp and sure enough it snapped on one end, cant wait for that to drain out in summer when its warmer.

Then i remembered having another indicator socket and bulb so i went back upstairs and grabbed it.

                              Shoved that baby in

                              Connected her back up

Then i took off the Aero lower lip because they are hard to find and if you break it you can kiss your sorry ass and $500.00 to get another one. So I put the bumper on and what sucked hard was the fact that without the lip the lines cannot be raised to the higher portion of the bumper. So i said fuck it and zip tied them until i can source a new bumper.

Ugly mode activated !!!! Im working on getting a new bumper and tires for the wheels. I spoke with novustech and my adapters will be here in 3 weeks they said.

Haha, I FINALLY found an Aero front lip for my 9-5 and don't run it winter either. I know I'll never find one again if I break it.

                                It's a work in progress^
