So a fair amount of you know me by my s13 and my e36, however my favorite car has always been an e28. all I have ever wanted was an e28 m5 or an e65 7 series since I was fairly young. I have wealthy taste, what can I say?
Well I started work full time after I dropped out of college in 2010, which led to me finding this gem for 1000$ early 2011.
A 1988 535i e28, Alpine White:

there was a lot of working going on last summer directed towards my bronzite beige e28 I picked up after this one, thinking that was going to be my main car, but I bailed on that. its now a parts car, thats why not much has been done to this poor girl. I took the fender with the most rust off and did some half ass primer work and shit just to keep it from getting any worse.
I also removed the front bumper, because I am not a fan of the largeness of it.

Basically the car is rust free, a little surface rust here and there, and its fairly mechanically sound for having just a few hundred miles under 200k.

The car has a lot of potential, just other projects keep pushing it back and back, but not anymore. this summer this car is going under the knife. and by knife I mean torches and welding rod. I was just hoping to start this thread to give me inspiration to start working on it lol.
I stripped the Cardinal Red interior hoping to get it reupholstered eventually ( was supposed to happen months ago ) but I bought an e36 instead.
I am still deciding wether or not to put the stock interior back in or Bride seats for what I am going to be using it for.

anyways thats all for now. plenty more within the next month hopefully.
