Out of interest, have you considered them at all? I am not sure on fitment but if w211 stuff works it should not be milion miles away..? (pic nicked from another thread on here)?



Would it not be easier to simply swap the centre caps or even the vw logos?

I was originally going to go with the kind of rare original 14" alloy wheels, they are like 11lbs and you can feel a performance gain vs the original heavy steel wheel.

I just really wanted a bigger wheel, so now I am hoping for the best of all in a light weight 13lbs 16" wheel with a classic Benz hubcap on it.
