  • Header wrap, not the most glamorous ways to start a post but it works!

Not too much on the wrap but there is more

Come on man there is more to see but I first need to finish the rest of it. But in all seriousness the zip ties were originally just there to hold them for test purposes but honestly it holds them just snugg enough to keep them where they need to be but not to snug as to allow room for expansion/movement and such, and on top of that a pair of side cutters is all you need to remove it.

                  • Its possible that I am alone with this pet peeve (scratch that I know I am the only one) but transmission harnesses seem to be neglected in terms of fastening, but I think I have come up with a modular fix to this.

                    Drill that shit

                     photo DSC02920.jpg

                    Tap that shit

                     photo DSC02927.jpg

                    Repeat

                     photo DSC02937.jpg

I really like the look of 12 point bolts

                    Milling a landing

                     photo DSC02948.jpg

I used these on the transmission ribbing but I see no reason why you could not mount them on other various points

                     photo DSC02950.jpg

Very simple in function, essentially the 12 point bolt is tightened until contact is made with the rib, this creates a very ridged mount with a bit more versatility than finding the nearest bolt hole to mount to.

                        • I said the other day to one of my friends that the Stanceworks forum is home to some of the coolest builds ever (given I haven't seen all the builds on all the forums). But after reading through all of your progress, I can honestly say that I stated the truth. Between yours and a few others I've read through the last month or so, there are some genius and creative minds at work here. Yours is no exception.

                          Beautiful work

I know its not a major issue by any means but its something that could use a little bit of improvement, and thanks for the good words
