The ordeal with the hardtop sounds about right for custom fiberglass stuff. The end result is very nice though. The back corners could have been extended to sit flush with the back section...
Nice to see another 2013/4 body on air!
I'm not in the Shelby club but we're running the same suspension so I thought I would share, hope you don't mind. Thanks for making this build thread, i'm having a hell of a time deciding on wheels so your photos provide inspiration for my own fitment choices... As someone else said there aren't many people modifying this body style like this yet.
Weather was pretty decent on Monday so I took it out.
I hope to realign the front soon. It's begging for more camber in the front so I can air it all the way to 0psi
I bet once your Camber is adjusted you will probably kiss the ground. Your lip is lower than mine and this was facing uphill so the photo has a bit of illusion but I couldn't' get my toes under the front lip. In front I have 4° of Camber and at 0 psi she sits like this:
I'd probably have to extend the fenders and run a larger spacer since the inside of the wheel is leaned against the inside of the wheel well when it goes that far down. It's an idea for sure in the future.

Yeah, a lot of people have asked me why we didn't pursue getting the rear end more flush to the body and truth be told is that it really doesn't bother me as it is. Later we may try and give it a go again to get it perfect.

As you stated, the bodies just don't go that low (although at that height the little mud guards behind the front wheels are on the ground).
Very nice ride! Wheels are always a pain in the ass and I was glad to find something that was perfect all the way around. I am due for some new tires soon and have been contemplating powder coating them another color.
Right now my camber is adjusted all the way to get it to drop to 0psi. The tires are really damn meaty which really attributes to it not touching the ground. if I had a set of 19" wheels it would be easier.
