Update
So Works were finished, coming in with 4 inch lips up front and 6 inch rears.
Then went on to try and wrap the car in time for Wekfest LA. I picked the very pretty 3M Gloss Atomic Teal. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to get the whole car wrapped in time so for some reason I took all of the wrap off, returning it to cocaine white. I shouldve rolled in with half teal, half white.
Also started on making my own diffuser, and picked up some Buddy Club seats!
Then drove to Cali for WFLA, and on the way destroyed my rear fenders. Like bad. You can see it in some of the pics. Regardless, heres a pic dump of how the car looks right now to back at WF. Some major changes are planned, including going for a "GT spec" look, with full livery.
rollin in with a buddy. His car rightfully stole the show!

And redoing my fitment! Have -6 in the rear at ride height and about -8 when aird down
Much more to come later!Last edited by Austin EM2; 07-09-2015, 03:12 AM.

So small update...Picked up a set of Work Rezax II to rebuild. Looking to make them (secret width) and with 4.5/6 inch lips. Also looking at a new paint scheme in time for Wekfest LA!
When I first picked them up:

What they'll sorta look like...

Couple new shots from IFO!

Also was given the opportunity to be apart of a fantastic series on car enthusiasts in the Phoenix area! I highly recommend checking all of them out but here's mine for now!

Just started my first semester at university so progress is slow but my friends and I did manage to get the design for our first batch of box stickers made. Other than that, I just have a couple random pictures!

Some guy I met while washing my car was rollin' on some nice wheels.

Here's some pictures from a cruise I did with my section in Chapter 11. Had to roll on stocks because my broke self couldn't afford new tires right away

Then they wanted to do a group picture so I decided to get on top of my car..

Okay, easy enough. Do you recommend using heat?Originally posted by Oh Damn, it's Sam View PostBest thing to do with most clear bras is to pick up a corner with a fingernail until you can grasp it with your index finger and thumb. Then, stretch the film straight back - not up, but back - parallel to the surface of the body. Stretching the film will help break the adhesive bond with the surface, and keeping stretching straight back, flat against the paint will minimize the amount of force trying to pull the paint off the metal. You'll likely have some adhesive left on your paint, which typically comes off easily enough with 3M adhesive remover in the red can.
I used to install the 3M film for a living, and removing it that way, I never once lifted factory paint off a car. That said, aftermarket paint, and particularly the terrible airbrush jobs that lot detailers do when a car gets a scrape on the lot, bonds to the surface with varying degrees of tenacity, and depending on what's on your car, it's possible you could get some paint lifting. Nevertheless, it's a much better technique than just ripping the stuff off.

Couple little updates. Traded adapters with a guy and got a wider set in the back so now I'm at 19x10 -7. Fitment is pretty good too

Also took out half of my rear seats so I can bolt in my harnesses. Just picked up a set of NRG for now but I want to get a set of the Takata Drift series or whatever they're called in the future.
Thought I'd also share an ongoing project between me and some friends; an e30 "rally car". A friend picked this up dirt cheap and I've been given the opportunity to work on it and drive it around (haven't yet because we keep busting oil pans lol). Its a beater for sure but its awesome in its own little way.
AAAAND another picture I found of my car at Blox.
Right now I'm mocking up a new exhaust setup. Not really digging the systems for sale so I'll be making my own. I'm basically planning to build a replica mega fireball exhaust. I've always loved the look on VIP cars and I think it'd make the rear end of the Genesis more unique!
