I have k sport coilovers, I can still get a little lower out of them. and my engine isn't in in any of the photos of them. they are a great product, I'd recommend them

i have a photo of them going past the trim originally, but i didnt like it to be honest. They look a little goofy now because the wheels are not on yet, im gunna also be running little to no stretch. i get where your coming from it could have been done cleaner, but its grown on me. next time she goes under the knife it will be more rocket bunny style

    started a topic yellow lude

    yellow lude

haven't made a build thread on here yet.. figured id better make one eventually

here's my prelude when I got it... 1989 Honda Prelude barbados yellow (Y49) 2.0si
    with entirely mechanical 4WS
160k bone stock expect shitty speakers/ headunit and a full thermal R&D exhaust. it will be 2 years ago in may that i got the car.

but my love obsession for these old preludes has been an ongoing thing... the car i got my first ride home in from the hospital and the car of my childhood was my dads red 1986 honda prelude si 5spd. dubbed "the red car" i couldnt have imagined my childhood without it

eventually got some enkeis I liked

then got some axis og sans and lowered the car a little with some other suspension goodies

then went with some borbet type a - 16x7.5

    4ws

    engine bay went from this

    to this

then my prelude started overheating and other little things.. like rust. so I pulled it off the road.
    rust cut out

    for flares

spoiler, all 3 rear badges, antenna, and front badge all welded and filled

a good friend helped me take apart and clean my bottom end

    fresh paint

    the width

    interior shot

    coils on

motor to be put together soon.. weisco pistons, h23 shot peened rods, king Motorsport main bearings, ACL rod bearings, new OEM thrust washers, crank polished and inspected. The bottom end is built for boost, the whole top end is rebuilt but essentially stock.

and just me and the Lude..

new wheels have been ordered to compliment the new wider body..
    17x9 et +15, 17x9.5 et-10

    thanks for viewing
