  • Daily E39

I'm new here but I thought it was time for a fresh start so I decided to throw up some info on my new daily project!

After I sold my money-pit ( http://iamsimplyclean.com/forum/index.php?topic=1939.0 ) I decided it was time for a smooth, good looking, beautiful driving machine that could get some miles per gallon.

So I got me a BMW 520 with basicly no extras (no leather, casette player and so on) so I could build my own car.

    The day I got her.

The next day I really needed some replacement wheels until I could find some keepers.

    Found an ALPINA front bumper.

So because it's basicly useless to find spare parts for cars here in Iceland I had to find something to do so I cleaned her good.

Finally got my OEM facelift taillights!

Then after a long wait I finally got my coilovers and facelift headlights!

Then recently some lovely gentleman decided to hammer his foot down on the brake in front of me and this happened..

Definatly insurance fraud because he had no reason to brake like he did..

But now that I have all the parts that I need to fix my lovely BMW I want your honest opinion..

I'm changing the color of the car this winter and I need some ideas for it!

The color I'm thinking about is this..

Laguna Seca blue! But if you have any ideas for some crazy cool colors, please post 'em here!

Also, this is going under the car to begin with..

    19x8.5 + 19x9.5.

    Hope you guys enjoy

Love the Laguna idea! It'll look fresh with those wheels on it and more lows!

I think so too! But yeah I couldn't drop it more on the 17's due to speedbump overload and shitty roads here in Iceland.. But it'll sit perfectly with some spacers on those 19's for sure! So excited for '14.

The current wheel set up is killing me. When I first got these wheels I had no idea about stretch or fitment. But now that I do I have my eyes on a set of staggered 3SDM 0.06's. They are the last thing I want to purchase, mainly because of the winter. In the mean time I want to do the TT front end conversion, get a set of GLI side skirts, fog lights in the grill inserts, and IDF drop plates.

BMW frost gray or blue would look wicked.

The e39 shape really suits Imola Red.

Google it and then come back and thank me.
