    Do you add premix?
Not yet, its kinda weird.... EVERY Rx-7 I have ever had, I have premixed. This is the first one Ive ever had, and I still havent gotten around to deleting the OMP and premixing lol And I have -no idea- why I havent done it yet lol

        Get on it!

Premix is a life saver, same with adding and changing oil at short intervals.

If this engine ever goes out, you should throw in an S5 6 port

Wow that car looks great with the flares and addition to the front bumper.

              Carry on.

No doubt, Ill get to it here shortly, Ive got a lot of maintainance items to take care of before spring. She will hopefully be making her first trip to DGRR and I want her as reliable as possible.

As far as future engine swaps, anything is possible. Id like a bridgeported 12a, but housings are getting scarce. If I go to the trouble of a 13b Ill just MS, and drop a T2 in it. (My old FC was a 6 port turbo, I loved that!) Or you know, I might go to the dark side.... Hard to say...

To everyone that has posted so far, thanks for the love!

I have had this car for ten years, except for a short couple of months, and I have always been hesitant to modify it in anyway. I just loved it so much the way it was, but I had started to grow bored with it, part of the reason I traded it. This has been long overdue, and I am glad you guys like it so far!

                    One more shot for fun....

Hopefully by this weekend Ill have her lowered some more, going to order some adjustable bump stops for the rear.

Gorgeous! Love where this build is going, and it's even cooler that it's still rotary

I love what you're doing with this build, the mods are tasteful and purposeful, and you haven't lost any of the original charm of the car. Its cool that you've kept it for so long, especially as it was your first car

lowered, because it makes the boobies bounce

I like what you did until now, especially the fender flares. But please do some quality shots of the interior, too. Thanks!
Will the rear wing stay? I would love to see it removed.

Ignore the website URL on the once cutting edge homemade camera mount. It is defunct, (As is the mount lol) and replaced by the one in my banner.

The car now has a 320mm wheel, and a wink rally mirror. I have a broadway in my miata, and thought the wink would be more period correct for the Rx-7. Having used it a few times, I dont think I like it. Being that it is a 'targa' model (No the roof doesnt come out, just a little marketing ploy at the time where they added a targa band ala Porsche 911) it has a leather headliner. Other than a tear on the drivers seat the interior is in great condition.

                              More interior shots to come.

Also Ive been thinking about the spoiler, and Id been thinking bigger myself (Group C style wing), but I have no plans for it yet.

Be a man, stay rotary. What's the point of collecting cool JDM shit, and tirelessly working on a classic japanese car just to make it a wannabe muscle car that will handle much worse than it did while spending extra time and money trying to wire the pig up.

My buddy had a ported 6 port 1-4 streetport and bridge 5,6. Shit would revv past the 8k limit on the dash until it bounced off the limiter. I used to believe that turbo rotary was the only way to go, but that car proved me wrong.
