BUMP FROM THE DEAD!!!!!! AND THERE'S GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS.

Good News: The car is ready to run for this summer! All finishing touches are done. I took lots of good photos of the car, engine and interior set up.

Bad News: I no longer have any of those photos cause I dropped my phone in the toilet. Its also winter in Canada, so that's always bad news.

Updates I have done since last:

-Installed a Grip Royal "woodie" wheel with NRG short hub and v3 quick release
-Wired in the AEM afr, as well as an Autometer boost and oil temp gauges
-DDM works stainless steel Radio surround and gauge pod.
-Purchased a Hard dog M1 roll bar
-Painted my valve cover metallic blue, then dropped it on the floor and chipped the paint. stupid.
-Cut my rear bumper to reduce drag and expose the stainless exhaust (NA miata bumpers create a parachute effect.)




I am absolutely decided on the vision I have for this car, and foresee Fender flares and SSR watanabe's in the future. I don't want to crap out on fake wheels anymore, so I'm selling the XXR's and will be putting on Bassett racing steelies(sort of like diamond racing, but better quality) in 15x7 with 0 offset until I can afford the real deal.

So this is where I am taking in your opinion. What colour should I paint them, the roll bar will also be painted to match. They come in black, or I can paint them. So far I have debated between: White, Minty green, cream/off white, camo tan and I would love your input!

Side notes:

I bought some BBS RA's, started restoring them, then decided to sell so I could buy the roll bar

and I built myself a simulator rig so I can drive and drift in the winter months.

Just wanted to say RIP to Paul Walker and Roger Rodas, definitely been a sad weekend

Little update!! Things are working out great, power steering was deleted for more room and she's alive and running! Just need to wire in some gauges!




Exhaust is welded up, full magnaflow 2.5" from the downpipe! Unfortunately...clearance isn't great, and I might have to raise up the suspension before i rip off my exhaust

My miata came with the same style bar... Used rollbars get bought up quick... I got tired of waiting and went with the Bossfrog clearview standard when I upgraded. I like the style of the split rear bars and the fact that can still see outta my mirror. Im looking forward to updates on the turbo project
