id like to start by saying im finally a active member on here. I've been lurking for a couple years and finally have another car that is worthy of a build thread.

this was my first car 09 lancer gts

and then s**t happens and just like that she was gone
than i had this clunker

and now without further a do. Meet my gal Betty White.
this is from 30 minutes after I bought her




10 minutes after i got her home i gave some good ol rubbin with some carnuba

Than ripped off the steering wheel cover that was hiding this beauty

than some friends came over and had a euro sedan party

after another day with the power buffer followed by a sunday frolic we are left with this



i was accompanied by my good friend Tony and his 67 bug

and now i found this issue so more mini updates to some

So here a little update from the past couple weeks
-changed the oil
-got the old steering rack out and put in the newly rebuilt one
-new spark plugs
-flushed PS fluid
-painted the IS lip white
-had my friends over at san pedro muffler hook me up with a new Cat and magnaflow muffler
-got a couple goodies coming in the mail too

As for the interior, i did a little cleaning,put my crown royal shift boot on, and a new alpine head unit

got a couple updates since the last time i posted
redid the rear end with some condor speed shop 12mm riser bushings as well as some bushings from rev shift. also got some steel braided brake lines and Ground Control coils

and changed the diff fluid while it was all win pieces

heres the rearend after some cleaning and new bushings

heres how she sits with the new rear end and some old eibach rear springs

and just finished putting in the coils so i will update new pics once my front end gets redone this weekend.
new front control arms,tie rod ends,poly offset m3 lollipops in transit

there is a euro meet every other thursday in carlsbad at the outlet stores at 8. not this thursday but next thrusday. itd be rad to have another old bmw there!

yep. its a pretty casual meet. usually like 20 cars. 8pm at the outlet stores by rubios. youll see us out there. its mostly vw/audi, but more bmw have been showing up. and i wont be the only old one there! haha

so its been a couple weeks since i have updated.
redid the front suspension with new...
-tie rod ends
-condor speed shop CAB
-new lower control arms
-cut and welded the stock spring housings for the GC kit
I also...
-got an IS trunk spoiler
-painted the side moldings under the doors
-polished the valve cover accents(going to paint soon)
-also took the ///M stripes off


even got dad back on the welder stacking dimes

she also got some fresh oil, some new NGK plugs,and lucas oil injector cleaner today
she's back to running on all six,literally(front plug wire was really loose)

I just so happened to take a picture or two at cars and coffee in Irvine a couple weeks ago
