Cant really go wrong either way.
I think polished copper is going to win, but I'm going to see what a combo would look like.

Some of it I did, some of it I sent out to hi-tech plating in California.

Think I'm going to go with something similar to this.

Except 3P has six ports coming down, I have to look at some designs, I'm over thinking my layout in my head.

Dash, and motor are coming out Saturday

      New Plate for the Manifold

Old false floor is out, new one will be framed with 1x3s or 2x4s because I'll need a little more room to hide the two compressors, battery and the spare.

      "Podium" For the manifold

Lines still need to be polished, but progress has been made.

New Radiator and Flex a lite fan setup for the car.

        Before the carnage.

Decided when pulling the interior and stuff.. To have this seat fixed, made an appointment and dropped it off with the Upholster. He charged me 200 bucks.

Motor is out... Lots of brackets, holes and things to eliminate and shave. New brake lines are also on the list, as well as the Wilwood 4 piston kit I have.

Dash is out... Heater Core removed as well as the AC components and HVAC units...
Plus I needed backside access to shave the bay. This also makes it easier to clean up my wiring for the reroute.

Another shot of the bay before.

        My crack free dash <3

Motor I need to break down, clean up and repaint.

Lots of things to omit and shave here.

Here's the finished product on the seats. They look great. After looking carefully at this picture I realized my Khaki shorts stained my seats! lol I have to clean the grey.

        Hardline setup.

You will regret using those chrome water traps. They leak like nobody's business. Get yourself some good water traps. Keep in mind that when you do replace them, because you will loose your patience with non stop low pressure that they may not be same size. Figure out that ordeal before you get too far with your hard lines.

Other than that, the project is looking very nice. I like where it is going. Clean car!

You've had issues with AVS traps?

Yeah they are AVS traps, I've never heard a bad thing about AVS traps except for your experience?

Who else makes a chrome trap?

Thanks guys, plan on working on her more tomorrow.

                      • Real progress has been made in the engine bay.

The rain tray has been removed as well as the battery tray and a few other misc spot welded brackets.

This is how I'm going to route my electrical in the fender well.

Templates for all the holes were made prior to welding.

So many holes, I am even going to shave the bottom of the radiator support.

Upon grinding misc spots for welding, I found this crack in the frame. Most likely from a previous accident.

I welded that back up, and started to grind it down... It looks like a Penis... I left it for now, because I think it's funny.

The coating that you can see on most of the patches is weld through primer.

Majority of the MANY holes on the radiator support are filled.

The strut towers will be stitch welded, and then filled so that way they are nice and flush.

I STILL HAVE A LOT MORE WELDING, and metal finishing to do in the bay before I can start body filler. Tomorrow I'm going to finish the patches, then start the frame notch.

I'll leave you guys with something that's shiny.

                                ( Mount is backwards lol)

Waiting on more gold plating to come back.
Waiting on a new carpet for the interior.

This weekend I should be able to have some free time to paint my motor, then I can start assembling that as well.
