Sunday is gonna be entirely work on the shitbox day. I have dug out my compression tester so thats first thing thats gonna happen. before i spend another dime on this motherfucker i want to make sure this thing isnt FUBAR. according to mitchell at work i should be seeing around 178 PSI in each cylinder. if i see under 150 then its time for it to be completely redone -____-
praying it passes cuz if so then its time to start cleaning that trunk and to buy my engine stand, a few drip pans for coolant/oil capture, ziplock bags, and a notebook. gonna put all the screws for EVERYTHING in labeled bags and write down where each go, complete with a small diagram/picture.
After that its time to start unplugging and labeling connectors. gonna replace pretty much every sensor on the damn thing along with any and all things that can leak. big day. pretty excited.

Finally got a chance to put some time in and get SOME of this shit rolling. Started with a pile of boxes and a small corner of the garage (dont mind all the random shit in the background lol)
it got cold out there so said fuck that. space heater COME HITHER
Then i got to work unpacking shit
And while i didnt take pictures of the process cuz i didnt have another pair of hands and i was too tired to give a fuck you guys get pictures of the end product. Fuck these directions. I needed a Youtube video to get that thing together.

Decided to keep the old bucket. Shes gonna be parked up for awhile and am just gonna save up to fix her. Buying this http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb...bar-96524.html gonna go to the store and see exactly how this thing works. hopefully it can hold the weight of the damn block while i disconnect the subframe. this is gonna be fun getting fluids all over my sister in laws driveway. shes gonna kick my fucking ass.. meh. Got some very bad news. What I thought was a simple power steering issue has snowballed into an epic clusterfuck. I knew she needed some TLC but this is some other OTHER shit. Turns out what was a small seeping pan is the whole upper oil pan gasket pissing oil all over the underside of car and down the exhaust. Explains the smoke at stoplights and the car on fire. Gotta drop the subframe, rack, and support engine and try to redo it all. Only other option is pulling engine and transmission. I don't have the tools for that shit. Or the money. She's gonna be parked up for awhile unless I can get some help. I will be buying a Jack and Jackstands today. Don't have the money for a cherry picker. Fml.
